I've realized in my late twenties that I actually want a smaller collection, yours is perfection!! I love colors though so it's quite hard to keep my collection small; I'll almost have two bags for each category that you have (one fun color and one neutral). Now, what I have are still nothing compared to others who comfortably have at least 20 bags in their collection so for that, I'm quite relieved! XD thanks for sharing!!
I think 2 bags for each category is still quite minimal! I love your idea about having a fun color bag. I am actually really swayed by Fendi's new baguette bag that they released for the summer season, they have one yellow and one blue bag in a "vertigo" print and although I have no idea how I would style it... I am very tempted 😅 Thanks for your comment!
I love your minimal collection. I don’t think I’ll ever be as streamlined as you (currently hovering abound 15-18 bags), but I respect how you keep it simple. All of your picks are really practical!
I’ve definitely added items since this video but I do try to consider whether or not I already have a similar bag that serves the same purpose or is in the same category :) thanks for the comment 💖
Yay a handbag collection video! I love how your collection is so compact but still fulfills different purposes. I like to break down a handbag collection into 4 categories - 1) an everday bag/medium-sized bag, 2) a large tote bag/work bag that I can fit my laptop, 3) a small crossbody bag/mini bag, and 4) an evening bag. I also think it is enough to have one bag for each category. I was so surprised to see your lv handbag. I have a very similar one in epi leather. It was a gift from my parents when I was very little (I believe it was in the late 90s). It came with a short strap like yours, but my parents also bought me a longer strap so that I can wear it as a crossbody. I still love it so much. And oh, I visited the Loewe boutique and checked out the small puzzle bag. I liked the midnight blue/black colorway much better than the sand/mink one. The leather was more matte than I thought, but I still liked it. I think it's a great everyday bag. I would love to see your wear and tear video on the puzzle bag in the future :)
Hi! Yes I also like to consider if the bag I’m buying isn’t already a similar category to the ones I already have. I think it’s a really great way to be a conscious consumer and collect pieces that you really love :) I love my LV navona pochette! I think that vintage LV pieces are so nice and also tend to be a bit better quality than the more recent pieces 🙂😅 Oh I will definitely do a wear and tear video! It’s holding up amazing, so I don’t know if there will be much wear to comment on 🤣 Thanks for your view and comment, qed!
you and your bag collection are absolutely gorgeous! I thought it was very sweet how you spoke of the LV bag from your grandmother. it's such a pretty bag in a great size, I wish they still carried them. I'm loving the Faure Le Page daily battle but it's so much like my Neverfull in function and appearance. The Bottega Veneta padded cassette is an ideal bag all around.
Aw thank you so much for the comment. I really love that Navona pochette, and I agree about how convenient it is for errands. Totes like the FLP, LV Neverfull and Goyard are classics for a reason! I love the smallest Neverfull I think it's so cute. But I definitely agree, one tote is enough for me too 😅 I rarely use it, only if I don't want to carry groceries in a plastic bag, if I'm flying or on a road trip. Thanks so much for your comment x
you're so soft spoken :) when i'll be able to afford luxury bags i would NOT get the trendy ones, i like each one of your bags, specifically the veneta one, also i love your name because you have the same name as one of my friends AND One of my favorite characters from this shojo i love. Funny enough he's also soft spoken and serene like you.
I think that buying classic bags that will outlive a trend is a great idea! :) I guess I have trouble being loud enough sometimes which is a problem, but thank you!
I love your collection, there's a underlying chic and minimal aesthetic to the pieces you have. I appreciated your review on the FLP tote, I've been curious about adding some of their pieces to my collection, so that was helpful. Great video, thank you for sharing!
I love this! I'm currently struggling, so I go with more contemporary brands or save up for that luxury brand equivalent with the mindset of longevity. Thank you for sharing!
Luxury items are definitely extremely overpriced so searching for the perfect contemporary brand that is affordable and good quality is a really fulfilling experience! I hope that you find the perfect items that you love and can enjoy for a long time ☺️
You have great taste in bags! I’m also happier with less bags and am in the process of downsizing to about a dozen..which is still a lot, but I don’t think I am ready to go lower.
As long as you love every item and have a need for them, don't stress so much :) I've added a new bag to my collection last week and my only justification was that I've been lusting after it since July 😅
Love your minimalist collection! It’s well thought of! I’m trying to cut down my bag collection too! Please make a more detailed review video on faure le page..been meaning to get one!
omg great video, love your bags! I love the Faure le page (spelling ? lol) so nice and I love that its more unique compared to the never full and the goyard totes! subscribed x
Hi Rui, thanks for this lovely video! I love your choices and your aesthetic - I take it that you are half-Japanese? That probably accounts for it! My husband and I have been to Japan and just loved it. Since it looks like there won't be any more bag videos in your future (😊), the other topics you mentioned sound great. I think you also mentioned in an earlier video that you live in Germany? I'd love to hear your take on that - I lived there for a decade years and years ago and still have friends there that I visit occasionally. I don't have any designer bags - it's not really my lifestyle, but also I prefer something that's not so well-known (I have a small collection of bags that are hand made in Toronto; I'm in Canada). If I were to get a designer bag, it would be the Loewe Puzzle in the same colourway as yours - it's gorgeous. I really liked that you showcased Fauré Le Page, I'd never heard of it at all. All the best!
Hi Patricia, thank you so much for the comment! Yes I am half Japanese, and currently in Germany! I just moved to Germany 6 months ago, during the lockdown so I haven’t been able to explore much outside of my small city! But I do love it, and it is a nice change of climate from my previous location in the Baltics :) I do think the only bag related videos I’ll be doing in the near future will be wear-and-tear reviews. I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video! I have to say the Loewe Puzzle is definitely my most used bag :) Fauré le page is a great “if you know, you know” choice as far as monogrammed totes go 😄 Hand & locally-made bags from Canada sound amazing!
@@rui_etc Hi again Rui, in case you are interested, here's the link: opellecanada.com/ They are very nice, inexpensive compared to your bags! I hope that you are enjoying Germany. I was there from 1984 to 1993, I lived and worked in the Black Forest area. I don't know what it's like now, but back then I found that Germans can be hard to get to know (not as open and friendly off the bat as North Americans), but once you are friends they are so hospitable and can become friends for life. Bye for now!
It was bought separately but at the same time so I dont believe they’re sold anymore, if you Google “classic LV key ring / pochette extender” many will come up :)

@@rui_etc omg I knew which bags you're talking about!
Nice I would just add one elegant pouch/clutch for special occasions (theater, cocktail parties, weddings..)
Great idea, I just wish that I had more formal events like that to justify a beautiful clutch 😂
I love your minimal collection. I don’t think I’ll ever be as streamlined as you (currently hovering abound 15-18 bags), but I respect how you keep it simple. All of your picks are really practical!
You do have very great and practical pieces! I’ve never thought of going a capsule handbag collection!!! Great idea!!!🥰
I’ve definitely added items since this video but I do try to consider whether or not I already have a similar bag that serves the same purpose or is in the same category :) thanks for the comment 💖
Perfect collection. Loved it so much!
Thanks so much 😊💘
i keep coming back to this video. i love your collection ❤
Thank you so much 🥰
Literally just ordered a FLP tote because of this video. I’m obsessed with your style!!
I hope you love it!! It's such a great tote.

I love how you keep your collection neat and minimal. It serves you well! PS I recognized the Hobonichi pen. I'm using my Techo for the 8th year :)
Love the tote, love the gray color! Thank you Rui for this video!
Glad you like it!
Very nice collection of luxury bags. Thank you for sharing!

It was bought separately but at the same time so I dont believe they’re sold anymore, if you Google “classic LV key ring / pochette extender” many will come up :)
great collection! new subbie!
Thank you!! I appreciate it :)
Your skin care secret for me then 😍
I would love to share that! My skin is not perfect by any means though, this video just had really bright lighting 😅
What size is ur tote?? 27 ?
Sorry for the late reply. It’s the Daily Battle in 32
Is it size 32?
The FLP bag is a size 32, yes :)
