SCUBA DIVING INDONESIA PART 1 | ALAMI ALOR | HEAVEN ON EARTH

Alor seems to currently hold the title of being the ‘new’ diving destination that offers untouched reefs, with biodiversity to match no other location. Located on the southern islands of Indonesia just a stone's throw from Australia, we found ourselves at the Alami Alor resort in what can only be described as heaven on earth!
A small boutique resort that offers home comforts give it the feel that you’re visiting a friend in paradise, but it’s the diving that sets itself apart from other parts of Indonesia that we have experienced.
If macro critters, reefs a plenty with hard and soft corals, sharks and sightings of sunfish are your thing then you need to be heading here as a priority! The marine life is in abundance, and no two dives are the same - reefs, caverns, jetty’s, and muck diving makes Alor possibly our new favourite place to visit.
However, one word of advice… Take plenty of memory cards for the camera as you’re going to need them!!!
