She scares me so much. I had an employee who was just as skinny as her, and I could see her getting worse. I talked with the upper management about helping her, and they said they couldn't do anything without accusing her. But one day, she came to work and literally couldn't walk without holding onto me. I left her to work at the fitting room where I got her a chair to sit at. This was when the mask mandate was in place, and when she took her mask off, her face was so sunken it was terrifying. I literally had to walk with her any time she had to move. I helped her to the bathroom cause she couldn't go alone. It has scarred me for life. I had other employees crying to me to do something about her cause they were scared for her. She left that day to a doctors appt with her mom and never came back to work. I got updates about her because I wanted to make sure she was okay. She ended up having organ failure and was hospitalized. Last I heard, she was recovering and going back to school.

It was good of you to help her like you did. There really isn't much that people can do to help that are outside their circle and I imagine having people at work, especially your boss bring it up could make things worse. Mental health in general but especially EDs are so difficult to know how to help with, what you think helps could be triggering and what you're afraid to do in case it's triggering may have been the best thing to do.

Eugenia is having organ failure now. That's why her skin has been green for a while now. It's a sign of multiple organ failure. Which also causes thyroid failure. It works directly with everything. Mainly bowel and liver. Which the thyroid literally controls everything. People don't realize how important the thyroid is, and thyroid levels.

I met Eugenia years ago when I took my daughter to a UA-cam creators meet-and-greet. She was quite frail and very fragile, but positive and sweet. She was also very anxious and extremely shy. Her mother hovered behind her and watched her EVERY move. It was TOTALLY creepy and I worried about her health. She looks positively healthy in these old videos compared to what she looks like now. She is absolutely skeletal now. Her teeth look like they’re rotting. How, how, how could anyone in her life let her continue on with this craziness. I know she’s nearly 30, but there has to be a way to fix this. I can’t believe she’s not dead. I blame her mother for being so controlling and weird.

This! I feel so bad for her, but I definitely think she gets an ego boost when people tell her she’s so thin (as someone who used to have an ed it’s actually common for people to take it as a compliment ) and I think she feeds into it maybe on purpose? Thank you, well said. She has such a sweet personality, she needs to get help away from her mother. Once we adopted a dog who weighed 7 pounds (she should've weighed 12 - 14!) and the person who had owned her was just clueless, not vicious -- she had inherited the dog from a relative and didn't know anything about caring for dogs.
Like Eugenia, this dog was so sweet! But she needed to be brought into a safe home. With us, she gradually got healthier. At 12 pounds, the vet said she's healthy, and she probably never would get to 14, but she was SO much happier and so much more playful.
I think Eugenia would settle at a low-normal weight if she got help. She would still be slender, but HEALTHY slender. I pray for her, it's all I can do from here. ❤

I feel for her as someone who had struggled with an eating disorder in their teens. However, a disorder can explain why a person acts that way, but it doesn't excuse their actions. I feel terrible for her old friends that tried to help her and she refuses to find help herself.

Just for anyone who has a friend or family member they are thinking of 5150ing , please please do your research and weigh your options with a professional. What Jaclyn did, as good intentioned as it was,was wrong. Period. The way that group and the therapist they reached out to handled the situation, was wrong. And when the facts came out about how traumatic the whole thing was for Eugenia and how betrayed she felt, the therapist ( Kate Morton I think ) walked back everything she told Jaclyn to do thru messages. If you are ever thinking of having someone 5150 ed you really need to do your research. Also maybe go personally check out the facilities your friend/family member will be locked in against their will. Make sure it’s not a place that is going to traumatize them completely and totally negate any progress they could have made. Remember that being 5150ed is basically like being arrested in some states. You become “ ward of the state “ till they deem you worthy of leaving. Make sure this is the last of the last options and there’s no way of getting thru to them. Eugina said they never spoke with her about it so there’s definitely 2 sides to the story. Ambushing someone with a 5150 is NOT something to take lightly and the laws differ in every state. You could start out wanting to help a friend and end up getting them locked in a hell scape of which now they can not legally leave. I understand Jaclyn and her friends were just trying to help. But even Jaclyn said she should have looked into it a lot more. I just really pray one day Eugenia wants to be better for herself. Such a sweet soul with so many people who love her. I breed brachycephalic cats, “persian cats” through the cat fanciers association, extreme flat faced animals whether dog or cat if picked up incorrectly will respond similarly to this. Pinch half of your nose and try to breathe.. that’s what it’s like for them 90% of the time so if she’s picking the poor thing up and making that even harder, yes you’ll fuss to get away to catch a nice deep breath. Doll face Persian cats with the eyes above the nose line don’t often have this issue, not all of them do however it is commonly seen in brachycephalic animals. You can genuinely tell just by how she’s holding the dog and how he struggles to breath and I snorting upon getting away.. he simply just wasn’t able to breathe correctly and that’s a normal bodily response to suffocation, not to say he was being straight up suffocated but involuntary movements to try and take that deep breathe are what’s going on here. I am an animal behavioralist and breed these types of animals, that’s all this was.. she should of had all four of the dogs paws on her lap not sit him upright it’s hard on the chest to inhale and exhale because of how the nasal cavity is differently shaped in brachycephalic breed animals whether dog or cat.. doesn’t matter.

Her fiancé is horrific abuse. It was so bad. I took her to a place that offered her a brand new life on the silver platter and she went back to him. I couldn’t do it anymore. I tried so hard. I gave her a hug. I said if you want help and I’ll be here for you, but I can’t watch this anymore. I found out on the news a month later he beat her to death. And then her body dropped a motorcycle into like a motorcycle accident. However, most people don’t drive motorcycles in a nightgown, barefoot, and with ankles strapped on with bungee cords. He’s where he belongs. It was very difficult but at least saying I did all I could for her. I took her several different places at several different times even in myself to help her by going to pick her up when he was violent, etc.. There’s only so much you can do sometimes.

In 2019, 4 of her friends called mental health professionals and did an intervention on her. The professionals interviewed her privately and ultimately put her on a 5150 hold which is the same thing that happened to Britney Spears back in 2007. It’s a 72 hour involuntary hold. So her friends did try to help her. She was doing better and had gained weight and ultimately admitted that she did have a problem. But she’s gotten worse and a lot worse in the last few years, a lot worse than she was when her friends intervened a few years ago. This is this kind of disease that someone has to really want help to get help and only they can help themselves. It’s a disease where the diseases makes you think that there’s nothing wrong with you and it changes the personality into someone who tends to be not very likable. People can call the police, blame the parents, etc. but at the end of the day, she cannot get better until she realizes she has a fatal disease. A lot of times, unfortunately, this disease is fatal because the individual doesn’t think they have a problem and doesn’t get help in time. They can get her into treatment, just like in 2019, and she can do better like she was doing, but after a time it goes right back to being unhealthy and more times than not even worse than it was before. No one can force feed her and even if they could, it’s a temporary solution. No one can force feed her intravenously for the rest of her life.

When I practically stopped eating, my mother made me juices every day, just to make sure I was getting calories (probably more than when I was eating solids. She was smart enough not to tell me exactly how much she'd put in them). It was her pracrically begging me to go inpatient after speaking to my psychiatrist, that had me check myself into inpatient the 1st time, and the next 3 times. If it wasn't for her, I don't knoew if I'd be here. As a mom now, I can't imagine watching one of my children go through this and just standing by, let alone encouraging her. I recovered 13 years ago, but without my mom, I don't know if that would've happened.
I'm about to go through a very extensive jaw surgery on Tuesday. where they're gonna cut both my upper and lower jaw in half and move my tongue to a New position. I'll be on a liquid diet for 6 weeks. It's bringing up some not great memories, but this is the result of grinding your teeth severely for 15 years and advanced TMJD. Eugenia Cooney’s story makes me so sad. I truly think if she were able to get off the internet, get away from her family, and find a real support system she would blossom into such a wonderful and kind person. It’s just heartbreaking seeing how she’s deteriorated and lost so much of herself. All the negative attention she receives on her appearance is likely not perceived as negative to her. People who say she looks sick, or looks skinny are just encouraging her. She does have a disorder, and the attention she receives online has created a vicious cycle. I think she genuinely is a kind and entertaining girl, who was born into a toxic family and became stuck in an even more toxic career. It’s inexcusable to endorse/encourage unhealthy eating habits to such a young and impressionable audience the way she does. Above all i think she needs unconditional support and love, and to prioritize herself.

I've gone through so many stages of grief mourning the inevitable loss of this woman. Sadness, to anger, to acceptance, back to sadness. Found her in my teen years when she still was full of light, and there was a chance she could be helped. Now she's a literal husk of her former self, degrading herself to flashing and melting down on stream for engagement. Even her sweetness has been diminished. She still tries to talk in that sweet baby voice but she doesn't have the energy to put up a front anymore & shows her true colors often. All my love to you Eugenia. I pray you'll somehow by the grace of God make it through.

Well maybe she was sweet but she isn't now, she just pretends and infatalizes herself for the creepy pervs who pays her to do various tricks for them during livestreams. It's sad but that is what her life has come to. A while back there was a major controversy surronding her because one of her Discord mods is a pedo so a fan of hers reached out to her to inform her of this, and she basically didn't care and asked what she's supposed to do about it basically. Such a sweet woman 💀. Not eating has fried her brain completely. She constantly do bodychecks on UA-cam and Instagram and has even posted quotes romanticizing anorexia and shit like that, yet she denies having it even though she's actively pro ana💀. There is no hope for her nor does she want to get better because this is what gives her attention and money. People have done research on her behaviours just look it up.

I know it’s a weird thing to nitpick, but i can’t help but find it unusual Eugenia films every interaction like with her driving instructor and even the cops. It’s like she’s stuck in this bubble and doesn’t realize that’s not a normal thing to do. And it’s not like she’s a teen filming everything she’s doing, she’s pushing 30 and can’t do basic adult interactions without filming, her mother has sheltered her so much

This is heartbreaking as she seems like such a sweet soul. Her Mum on the other hand gives me horrible vibes & I noticed how she made Eugenia nervous while she was driving & Eugenia seemed uncomfortable in the store which was hard to watch. I also got bullied & had a Mum that was super controlling to the point where it makes you a nervous person & hesitant in situations, luckily I never had an eating disorder but I have had mental health issues which this girl clearly has. I hope she can get help & she should cut her mother out of her life which is a hard thing to do but no one should be held back & abused whether that's physically or mentally.

Cheers, Snowflake. Been waiting on this one for a while, ever since her very first 5150. It's difficult to tell her story without trying to save her, and that's what tripped up Shane and Jaclyn Glen. Her mom freaks me out hard, though, more than Eugenia. Eugenia suffers from a terminal illness that she has no desire to cure, but HER MOTHER...if Eugenia ever pulled a Gypsy Rose I wouldn't be surprised. It makes me wonder if from all the trauma (changing in the store, her mom being unpredictable, the cops being called, sit and spins, and so on..) makes me wonder if all of those events may have triggered her in a deep way and may have contributed to her ED. Her recent videos haven't been the same as they used to be. Really sad to think about.
