Diamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. The band is recognised as one of the leading members of the new wave of British heavy metal movement and is acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence. With 7 studio and 5 live albums under their belt and numerous world-wide tours, the NWOBHM Titans are now getting ready to release their 8th studio offering set for release in 2019 which will see them hit the road around Europe and beyond.
Diamond Head are: Brian Tatler (guitars), Rasmus Bom Andersen (vocals), Karl Wilcox (drums), Dean Ashton (bass), Abbz (guitars).

This was my favorite album of 2019, great songs, great sound, great production. Still so few views; when I see that and I am hearing this it is a moment where I feel...how rich I really am. Not in money, but in knowledge. It makes you appreciate how valuable it is to really know something like rock on a level where you are privileged enough to experience the sounds of bands like this. And while most people may live their whole lives never having known what they have been missing.
This is so goddamn fluid and welcoming to my 50 year old ears. Thank you once again DH

This is the band who just had bad luck in the 80's. They have been around for longer than Metallica and were a big inspiration for James.

After how awful Nick Tart and those two albums were, I had decided not to acknowledge anything after Death and Progress. Now I see that Rasmus is doing a great job and Brian is writing good music again. I bought the self-titled album and now have The Coffin Train on pre-order.

G Birdo The Am I Evil solo is in a completely different key and not to mention the progression and rhythmic structures aren't the same. It sounds a lot like Washington Is Next, and Battle Cry by Judas Priest

Indeed, this song was written late 2017 and recorded early 2018, completed during Thrashville's involvement and about a year before the comic's announcement a few months ago.

Just discovering them myself in the last couple of years! I think I heard of them back in the early 80's, and wasn't a huge Metallica fan in the early years (which the reason escapes me). I never heard their covers of Helpless, It's Electric and Am I Evil until Garage Inc, which was my favorite album of that year! Decided to check out the originals and have checked out more over time. This new song, and Belly Of The Beast are frigging AWESOME! Going to order the new CD!
