This is a completely new style for me and have never made a video like this. It's a bit clunky in places and my flow could be improved but overall happy with my 1st attempt. Going to be putting a lot more effort into my storytelling and shot selection over the coming months to build and develop this style. I'm going to experiment with how many places I record my talking head, I think it would be better to stick to 1-3. In this video I had like 5-7 which impacted my ability to keep the same tone/emotion throughout.
I thought it was great and I wouldn't have guessed it was your first attempt. I would like to get to a point to be able to do this. The music and the lighting really fit the mood well. Well done!
I absolutely love it, and it's a similar spirit that I'd like to get to one day. Well done.
@@ClarkSell Thank you really appreciate it, this took me so long to make
@@JeremyBadder Thank you. Yeah I spend a lot of time looking for music it's very time consuming
@@BenKaluza I have done that when I have made other videos too. It is a bit time consuming but worth it. It really helps the mood. I really like your dramatic lighting in here too. I have a background in photography and lighting so I'll work on that with my own setup too. It's tough right now because I have a lot of natural light that comes into my office where I shoot and I don't have blinds.
I need to have this on replay daily!! Been at it for almost 3 months and instantly feel like a failure when I look at others in my niche and their beautiful videos🥵🥵 Thank you🥰❤️🙏🏽 New subscriber!
Hey man. I found you from your “ Content creation has completely changed my life “ video and have been following you ever since. Found a lot of value, thanks for putting out videos. Cheers 👊🏻
@4:21 to @4:33 nice transition under the broll. Efforts aren’t going unnoticed 🤛🏻
You did a great job on this video Ben. The b roll is great, it's not clunky at all. Keep it up good sir.
Very inspiring 👏 💪
Thank you. It could defintely do with some work. I might reduce the amount of B-roll. I found this video very difficult to make and moving different filming locations made it harder. I think I might reduce the amount of locations/shots I film from to either 1 or like 2/3.
Thank you for addressing this feeling as a normal thing for creators! it's definitely made me hesitate starting.
Thanks for your videos in general, i recently found you and I'm gearing up to make my first upload.
Your content has been super motivating. I appreciate you! 🙏
brother you gives Ray of Hope
The B-roll was so fun and lovely, good job homie! 💃
This is awesome bro. I very much needed to hear this! Love all your content and PLEASE make more videos like this one :)
This video was packed with helpful insights!
Hey Ben, I’m just starting out really even though I have been on UA-cam for a decade in some form. You are making me realise that I need to create from the heart not fall into a niche which I do not fit. I will keep going and create more 😊
I love this style and you are inspiration to new creators like me. I’d love to see you do a video on writing your scripts. They are fantastic and drive me to create better content!
As much as i feel ashamed of my self and how big my ego is so i can't take advice from any one ben always get to the bottom of my soul with the right facts at the right time
This is very good Ben cinematic and very emotionally Inspiring
Thanks for sharing this!
Great content! I'm currently on day 6 of my 30-day challenge to start and grow my UA-cam channel. Your video gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation. Starting this journey has been a mix of excitement and learning, and watching creators like you helps keep me focused on improving each day. Thank you!
Nice a 30 day challenge is a great idea tbh, it forces you to create rather than just picking and choosing when to which often means you then don't create.
@@BenKaluza Thanks. I am enjoying the journey! I catch myself thinking about creating now.
Grateful for my 189 awesome subscribers! 🥰🙌 Your support keeps me going every day. Tough times come and go, but I’m here to stay, growing and improving for all of us. Let’s keep the journey going! 💪💫
I just love your vibe, Ben!
Thank you so much appreciate it
This is a new style for u I like it
Love your videos!
Your content is powerful 👏 ✨️
learning from u ben, will come bk n tell u one day of my success
Wow, this was so good! Thank you so much @BenKaluza! I really needed to hear this advice right now! I'm sure I'm not alone with that either. ❣
Let’s goo I’m starting to grind as well
I like the edited style but I must admit the ones you speak directly to the camera seem to feel more intimate in a way which I think youtube is missing. But either way I enjoy your content man, you inspire me
You think I should just go back to no editing or maybe just a little bit less and sitting in the same spot?
@@BenKaluza Honestly, I would just trust your judgement seeing as what you have achieved so far.. I will watch either way haha
@@steadyfoundations9327 Na I completely agree with you about the intimacy, I've already recorded my next video which is me filming from my normal spot and then I might just find a balance of b-roll over the top that doesn't take away from the intimacy.
Your video inspired me so much. I had a really bad day today. Got the opportunity to appear on camera for a UA-cam channel. For the first time in my life. I blew it. It was a 2 day practice for the script and all and still i blew it. I went blank on the camera. Tonight I came really disappointed . Luckily they told me i got 7 days to better myself and come again. I won't be giving up. This reminds me, can you also make a video suggesting how to speak comfortably on camera like the way you do? I struggle with this and I'm sure there are others too. Thanks again for this heads up video. Keep creating and love you brother. Massive respect.
I'm glad I coudl inspire you and sorry to hear you had a bad day. Yes I have actually got it down in my ideas on how to speak more comfortably on camera so will def do a video on that at some point
have u tried reading ur script from like a telempromptr
@@realHonestDialogue no I haven't. But you just gave me an idea. Thanks alot
@@BenKaluza thanks alot bro
@@Shargeelsheikh yea just write ur script and then read from it, u make any mistakes u edit them out, thats what almost everyone does lol
Why is this channel not bigger? I think the videos are great. Is it because the niche is oversaturated?
❤❤❤
Oh, Ben! You're so sweet...🥲 I started a Twitch profile because of you over a month ago. I started a "30-Day Journaling Challenge" and now on my second one "30-Day Coding Challenge". I focus on self-discovery through applied storytelling for art, education and life. Your videos keep me going. Your messages are so deep. I see you and love you. ❤ Keep going. Thanks 🙏🏼
wow that's a lot of challenges haha, what are you streaming on Twitch?
This is awesome, thank you🫶🏻
