I once had a Game Axe Color. It is a portable Famicom. The screen looks a little washed and you can play NES games on it if you are able to find a 60-pin to 72-pin adapter (aka the Famicon to NES adapter) You can connect this to your TV via AV cables designed for the Sega Genesis 2/3. The same goes for the AC Adapter.
You passed on the Crono Trigger soundtrack?!?! I bought one back in the late 90's as an Xmas gift to my little brother. He still has it! If I remember correctly, it's a 3 cd set and has 2 additional tracks that never made it to the game along with a small manual- completely in Japanese - loaded with great artwork that would later be used for creating those rare Crono Trigger figures.
