Listen to the 5 second clip of these iconic guitar riffs (and one synthesizer riff) and see if you can guess the song's title. Extra kudos if you can name the artist as well. 34/40 This was so much fun and brings back memories of some concerts I've been to - Black Sabbath, Yes, Rush, Boston, Peter Gabriel, Chuck Berry, Steppenwolf......brain can't think of the rest. Thanks for the great quiz and memories!

Good quiz. I got the vast majority, then there were 3 or 4 i knew the song but not the artist or the artist but not the song, then there was Pearl Jam which, never having been a fan of theirs, i didn't know either song or artist.
That was fun i think I missed like 5-6 which isn’t terrible, (I’m 14 btw lol)

Songs - 39. I knew it was Pearl Jam but guessed the wrong song by them. Bands - 39. I forgot who performed Should I Stay or Should I go. Otherwise, got them all right. By the way, just my two cents - missing opportunity to include Styx's Come Sail Away. 😏😃

31/40 correct answers. Should be around 34 but few times I knew the artist but guessed wrong song (f.e. I guessed Panama at #14). Some of the songs I don't even know yet.
We said The Trees for the Rush song, Jeremy for the Pearl Jam one, and couldn't remember what the REM one was called, so almost all of them right!
Hubs and I had so much fun with this one

39 and I'm kicking myself for the one I missed. Oddly, I did a trivia about guitar riffs 4 years ago (all text on Second Life) we had 13 songs in common. ;)

Haha! Yep, one synth riff in there to mix things up. That riff does sound pretty bad-ass when played on the guitar though. Wicked example of it here:

@@madmartiganstrivia I have gone and seen a local band who played it on the guitar and it totally blew me away. I might be bias as a guitarist but man it sounded better then the original
