Cubic shows FANUC LR Mate 200iD 7L integration with TR-600 tapping center

We show the latest generation 6-axis FANUC LR Mate 200iD 7L loading parts into an automatic vise on TR-600 tapping center.
The robot has 7kg payload and 911mm reach, and it features FANUC iRVision vision system (2D) which allows robot to pick up parts placed in arbitrary locations on a plane. 3D vision system is also available. The finished parts are placed near the door for operator retrieval later.
CUBIC TR-600 drilling and tapping center features 15k rpm spindle and 21-tool ATC. By using robot loading and unloading the fast cutting speed and feeds of the TR-600 really has a chance to shine.
