Great vid and music Thanks for your great vibe on these vids and it really shits me that you make a very technical climb look so effortless and easy nurture your gifts big fella and thrive in your life Thanks again for the vids Jb
Billy, you inspired me.I'm climbing and taking down a 70' poplar in my back yard.I'm 70yr. old and never felt more alive when i'm in the tree. God Bless.
I could watch these videos all day !! You are a master of your craft Billy. Wish I posessed a fraction of the knowledge. Lots of love to all today ♥️👍👍
Buckin, I have a great appreciation for your consistency in explaining the "Rhyme & Reason" for how you do that voodoo that you do so well in all of your content. As a retired tradesman (carpenter), and business man I have an even greater appreciation for the respect you show the trade itself and enough caring to ensure that those you reach develop the same respect. That you merge that philosophy with interpersonal skills that you have in treating others with the same respect and love that we all have for ourselves is the icing on the cake. Much love, Howard
music is art it can be and do a lot of things it can tell a story, set a mood, bring a smile..... the list goes on and on. Looking forward to the Mac song. As per the usual ur vid's are a cut above. have a great week folks!
Sitting out in the backyard about 9:15 Eastern Standard Time the weather's nice low 50s I got a fire going in the backyard watching this video with the music in the background creates a great feeling, it's just wonderful. Great video buckin.
Hey Buckin Isaacs Poppop here. Just a bit of swishing and swaying. You got to believe to make that cut, and just hold on. You are the man. Peace and love
What a video Buckin swinging & momma Buckin singing not forgetting Hogans band we were crazy when we were young absolute knockout friends this is one for the books 💪❤️👍
Thanks buddy for sharing your work with us , and take time to explain what you do , we learn from it, it's intesting to see that you can do a lot with less. No high tech hoetsiwoetsie tralala, just old school. And...no time lost.NICE JOB !
Another great video. I just bought a Stihl MS170 and bought a 12 inch bar and chain to go on it for these small limbing jobs. Nothing like riding a whip antenna when the top goes over. My first saw was a 10 inch limbing saw that I kept set to stall when I let go of the trigger. Sometimes a pain, but when you have to let go and hang on for dear life, it made perfect sense that the saw not be running. LOL
4 inches. WOW!! That's the size of a dryer vent. When that thing started swaying I got really nervous. I've helped a family member a few times. Never climbed but to watch him work was just amazing. Lots of respect for you guys.
I really really wish you had a video showing how you tie off with a single rope doing your Prusik knots or whatever knots you use that amazes me and would tremendously uncomplicated my life in trees thanks buckin
Hi, Billy I go to work while listening to your song ”wood man” in the trucks. I'm improving my mood with your songs. Someday, I am looking forward to your new songs. Blues and country are the best! You can sing a song and play drums and blues harps You are wonderful!.
been recently working with an older tree climber. Much of the stuff he has been teaching me at first scared the crap out of me. But i find myself using it more and more, it's so much quicker if you only have small stuff to do to just use your tail or your climbing line to rig down the small stuff and natural crotch rigging blows my mind every time. Great video mate keep it up!
I know this is an old video but felt the need to add my piece - Buckin is an inspiration, he's the reason I was able to leave my full time job and start up in tree work. I am learning lots every day and doing climbing. Absolutely love it and find I like to keep it simple, I use minimal equipment and am surprised at how much can be done with so little. Like Billy says, "you can have all the fancy gadgets you want, but this is ALL you need right here." Much love and God bless
The longer I own anything that with care and maintenance lasts well past it’s intended Life the more I fall in Love with it. I just bought a replacement mighty mite Eureka canister vacuum to backup the one from the house I grew up in. It’s 40+ years old and still works but the bearings are starting to show their age squealing. I love it and it has served years of service since my childhood.
I've said it before I wish you lived closer instead of clear across the United States and in BC. I would love to hangout and learn from a master tree faller. Victor is a lucky man. Love the channel and yes trying to change my attitude and be a better person and family leader.
Gosh I love watching you work. I could do it all day (from the comfort of my desk chair) He he he. Just be careful in the trees, I'm old and I worry about all you young tree guys.
Some of the most interesting content on the internet. I could watch these vids all day long. Informative, inspirational, and interesting. The best compliment I can give though is that it actually made me want to comment...never feel the inkling. Cheers.
Just did my first job, thanks for your wisdom...went with old school rigging on giant redwood foot thick limbs, bystanders were impressed...one rope, one saw, you da man!
Pretty cool, honestly, I've learnt a lot more from watching you work than other Arborists with the million dollar tools and rigging. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad this video hit 50k because I may not have gotten to watch it but excellent control of your directions .. thanks again Buckin maybe some day I can climb trees with skill 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Man watching you remind me of when I was a kid self-taught taking trees down. I started with a 1/2" 3 blade nylon line. That crap would twist and knot so bad. I used a skill chain saw no safety on that saw. I have taken and tide at the top and cut at the bottom chunking the tree down. Reason no ground crew and nowhere to drop it. But I had homemade shanks rope and guts and a harness. To this day never had a job go south. And I have 61 years of planet earth under my belt. I loved watching the ride. The first tree I ever topped scared the piss out of me because I had no idea that ride was coming. Lmao
Hello My good friend Billy Grandma Gipp is up there in heaven watching over you and keeping you safe in those trees! God Billy she loved you to death . She also loved to hear your mum sing as well , as so do i. What I would love to say about you Billy is your so pure and honest in your words and work. And they were based on you 😁we do what we do because we do it . From heart and soul , from loving and self trust we all love you Billy and thanks for making grandma's last days happy xx
That was some impressive work! You don't see tree workers do that much any more. And not a scratch on the house either. The company my brother worked for used the big trucks with buckets like I've seen you use before. The music was pretty awesome playing while you were cutting down those trees. Hope you have an awesome week!
Really enjoyed this video, Buckin. Haven't watched in awhile. ,,,been real busy, spreadin luv round. Keepitup friend.Much luv, and respect for your trade.
Mr. Buckin I have watched many of your videos but this is by far one of my favorites. I’ve watched it over and over, and still see new little things you do! The content, music, and the Buckin experience make me laugh and put a smile on my face every time!! Be safe out there and keep the old school rockin! There’s no school like the old school!!!
There is so much musical talent in your family Buckin, three generations all at once yet! Nice climbing, your skills are so refined everything has its rhyme and reason.take care and keep safe everyone ✌️😎🎶
As a new climber I soak up every bit of info you put into these videos. I love learning the old school tricks of the trade. Thanks for putting up these amazing videos. As always much love!
Axin' Al's Tree Services don’t rig off your climbing rope EVER. especially the other end. Old school guys do things that way because they are set in their ways. You are not, don’t limit yourself think outside the box. There are safer faster and better ways to do things. Bucking is good, but he’s buckin and has the experience to do certain things. When I was learning watching my father climb I was told “do as I say not as I do”.
Axin' Al's Tree Services another good UA-camr is Travor ahern... check him out. Strictly climbing and raw unedited footage to show you set up, and the mistakes. Great to learn from
That’s a pretty good job you had there! Just goes to show that you can do a lot with not too much equipment! Love to you and the family❤️ I hope all is well with the subscribers!!
Hey buckin. That's so awesome how you go up one tree then transfer to another and another. I think I've only seen you do that. Great music too brother.
Hey Buckin Isaacs Poppop here. Started at the very beginning late-night. Pretty cool to see you start. It's not easy getting there, scroll down three years. Is there an easier way. Would love to see it develope. Your the man. Peace and love.
Hey buckin, just a thought, I love all the background things and I know that you love them too, but your voice of instructions and your thoughts on each tree is so important, just a thought. Love the show, and enjoy the wild ways that you look at each job. Your friend, frank
Buckin, You are an absolute maniac in the trees. Love watching you work.

Consider a battery operated saw.
