What happen if I dont use cream of tartare?
I always struggle to get my aquafaba to thicken when whisking even after melting the sugar down in it. Is the key to getting it thick putting it in the fridge overnight?
Try reducing it by boiling

Did you add colour to the icing? Does it take well?
If I do add coloring, it's only in powder form. And it works well!
This is awesome! I don't have in Italy a plant based butter... We only have "margarina" which isn't as good. I'm looking for a solution so I can try your recipe!

You may be able to use vegetable shortening instead, but it won't have that buttery flavour. You could also try a combination of shortening and margarina, give it a go!
@@alexandrac9536 they're probably talking about spreadable margarine which has a different consistency to the sticks of vegan butter. Spreadable margarine won't give you the same stability and can turn out more softer/runny.
