- We are back with a long overdue project to the viewers. If you came to our potluck matsuri in 2023, you know we missed our chance to group build our MD Chassis. Fear not fellow Drift junkies as I set out to accomplish our task and bring forward one of the nicest drift chassis to date.
In fact, this is the first offering from Yokomo in my 9 years of drifting that I wanted to seek out and purchase after driving a customers and falling in love.
We hope you enjoy this deeper than normal dive into the process of bringing a next level chassis to life and and then thrashing the doors off of it!

Hell yeah! BTW, currently setting up my RMX to have similar settings and alignment to Project RTR.
It’s funny that no matter what happens to that Project, people still go back to it and it inspires so many newbies that have an RMX RTR to chase after what I thought was a pretty hectic build. Would love to see an update on where it is today.
Also, what happened to Fast Factory? The only major conversions available for the RMX are the DES Volcano and the Team Jordan Beast Mode 420. I wanted to eventually get the same conversion chassis but because I couldn’t get one, I bought the Hobbywing XD10/D10 combo instead.
You’ve also got Razr performance for RMX conversion! Idk what happened to FF but hopefully they will return. If I didn’t have the FF conversion I’d get a beast mode (I have 3 now) or the razr as razor is synonymous with good performance!

Possibly a chance to do a review if someone sends us one! For now we have some other projects (redcat and reve d) moving in the background! Coming soon!

What happened to the Redcat Rds box stock build?
It’s been under the knife and getting a new video made. It’ll be back, have no fear. Just been slow getting anything new to release from redcat for the cars.
Tasty Looking MD SS Did You get the ReveD Servo To Fit using taller Yokomo Servo Holders or spacers on the lower deck ?
I can't seem to see Spacers under the ReveD Servo in the video.
I used 3mm spacers on top of the Stock Yokomo Servo Mounts and then made a slight Dremel cut in the upper carbon supports to allow the servo arm to fully swing left and right without hitting the upper rails.
My Only complaints about the MD are the original Manual has mistakes and terrible settings (☹) and that the slide rack needed shimming on one of the bearing mounts to get rid of play up and down play on one side (left side) in the steering rack ,
Also Hunting was a bit of an issue until I raised the damping point to over 300. Now its the best handling car I have , The Grip even with the 3 gear setup is amazing

I’ll try to get you some settings for servo. I did just shim the gaps created by the taller servo and sent it.
