Voletarium Pre-Show | Europa Park

Voletarium is a Brogent Technologies flying theater ride located at the Europa Park Resort in Rust, Germany. The ride opened in 2017 as the first of its kind in Germany, and only the third in Europe after L’Extraordinarie Voyage at Futuroscope in France and Flying Dreams at the PortAventura World Resort in Spain. The ride’s pre-show, sponsorer by the German low-cost airline Eurowings, features its hosts introducing guests to a flying invention created by the fictional Eulenstein brothers, which the guests will board in order to embark on a tour around Europe.
Fun fact: Voletarium was originally intended as a collaborative project between Europa Park and Efteling, with each version of the ride having a different ending depending on what park you visited. After Efteling pulled out for unspecified reasons, Europa Park developed the attraction independently instead.
