As far as how the piano is miked I can't see enough to say anything about it. The two (different!) microphones for Cyrille are another thing. It poses certain problems, says Mike Senior in Sound On Sound (www.soundonsound.com/sound-advice/q-sould-i-record-my-vocals-more-one-microphone), specifically phasing effects when the singer moves. I cannot hear such a thing in this recording. Perhaps only one of the mics was used. (Like there is only one piano active, while there is another one in the room..;)
