The programs this price change will affect most are those on the Starlink Mobile Priority 5GBb plan. After the first Starlink 50 GB is used, the current Starlink 50GB plan allows you to have Starlink unlimited "best effort" at the dock, which is usually enough for 2 or 3 people to continue using Starlink unlimited best effort internet for the rest of the month, at no extra charge. The Starlink Mobile Priority best effort at the dock is going away. The same thing will happen on the Starlink 1TB plan, you currently still get Starlink unlimited "best effort" at the dock. After the Starlink plans change, on April 2nd 2025, there is no more Starlink "best effort" at the dock, and your Starlink Mobile Priority Service will throttle to 1 MB down and 512KB up, until you Top Up your Starlink Mobile Priority account, or the month resets. Additional Starlink Mobile Priority Data will be sold in blocks of 5 GB (@$2 per GB) or 50 GB (@ $1 per GB). If you are in the USA, we have unlimited 5G options that might be faster and more cost-effective.
