You are the content we come to see. You come across as a friend and relatable. I feel like I know you and we are on a trip together. I even ended my wife’s Valentine’s Day Card with “I don’t know where I’m going next, but I know I want you there with me” She laughed so hard! We are both big fans!! You are the reason we watch! Mike, I can't speak for anyone but me. I feel a connection with you that goes beyond just another UA-camr I like to watch. I think it is because of a shared connection to Vancouver. While I am American, I have a strong connection with Vancouver, it is where my mother grew up and where my parents were married.
So, I am very happy for you and Nicole, and I am looking forward to continuing to follow your adventures.
PS During COVID you did videos about Vancouver. I hope that after you get settled, you can do something similar about Hong Kong.

Mike - Wow, what a major life step for you both! Does this jury duty roll inclusion also make you for any kind of military draft or anything like that should they have one? Are you still a Canadian citizen and now a resident of HK? How does that work? Give us the goods on living and traveling in and around Hong Kong. How expensive is it, shopping, hotels, travel in HK, eating, sightseeing, restrictions, odd laws, etc., essentially, the total living package. Will your sister and family be visiting and traveling with you around HK at some point? Best of luck to you both in this new adventure.

My late husband and I got married for expediency after living together, just the two of us, on a beach by a Clerk of Courts in Virginia (our State in the US) and never regretted not spending tens of thousands on a wedding. We were together almost 20 years until he died and our wedding was perfect for us. So smart choice for you two. I visited Hing Kong and loved it. I had a brother who lived there with his wife, and my nephew was born there. They are often sorry they ever left. They owned a 35' sailboat there and used to sail down to Phuket. So much you can do there as a home base. Plus this explains the location of your newest videos. Honestly, I think you'd probably done much of what you could with trains in the US and Canada. So this is a good career move for you both. Much luck, love and prosperity. Congrats to Nicole on her promotion too. You two make a handsome couple and a good team. 💚
Congratulations!!!! I'm sitting in the laundry at the marina (yes, I live on a sailboat) doing my laundry with Tru Earth and tell everyone about it. I can't believe i've been subscribed since 2018 when Mike did a video on Fernie Ski resort, i went with my school and looked up a UA-cam video on it, he was the first that came up. I also remember the videos around Vancouver during the pandemic. Time flies but the videos keep getting better!
