The Iowa class was a class of six fast battleships ordered by the United States Navy in 1939 and 1940. They were initially intended to intercept fast capital ships such as the Japanese Kongō class while also being capable of serving in a traditional battle line alongside slower battleships and act as its "fast wing". The Iowa class was designed to meet the Second London Naval Treaty's "escalator clause" limit of 45,000-long-ton (45,700 t) standard displacement. Beginning in August 1942, four vessels, Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri, and Wisconsin, were completed; two more, Illinois and Kentucky, were laid down but canceled in 1945 and 1958, respectively, before completion, and both hulls were scrapped in 1958-1959. As the number of charges go up, the height seems to become essentially linear (take the 8192 and 32768 as example, 1800466/449054=4.00946 which is pretty close to 4). So for 2 billion charges, the actual height might be closer to 110 billion instead of 480 trillion (the quadratic term blows up when plugging in large numbers)

@@justlivingmylife-6463Minecraft uses both floats and doubles for world coordinates, but even if it's a double, a lot of the setters accept floats so it might snap to Infinity quicker than a double would. When I had to set the player pos I just called random functions until one worked.
I'm pretty sure Minecraft does all of its physics in floats, not doubles. Double precision is only really necessary for cryptography or high fidelity simulations.
@@justlivingmylife-6463 Really!? That's nuts. I've had it drilled into my head to avoid using doubles if you can since they literally take up twice the memory. I guess it's fine if you know that's the only instance of those values. But if you have, say, a particle system using doubles for everything... that can quickly get hairy.
Fun facts! 480 billion km is equal to 3208.602 Astronomical Units, which is about 97 times as far as the average distance from the Sun to Pluto.
