NZR behaved like Aussies with Foster. They should all be fired for disrespecting Fozzie. After a few losses to teams that have been developing for 10+ years and we had also lost most of our core AB’s, NZR treated him like dirt. Listen to what Sir Hansen said about NZR, wanting to sack Fozzie and even announce a new coach before the World Cup. In my mind, Fozzie took us to outplaying our opposition in the final of the worlds most competitive World Cup final. If it wasn’t for acknowledged errors by officiators, Fozzie would in in the hall of fame, with the 2023 World Cup. Shame on the NZR and also all of the commenters who were dragging Fozzie pre World Cup. Scott Barrett is the most overrated player in the All Blacks. If anyone else made as many errors as he did, they would be dropped in a second.

💯 correct, the obsession with Team Barrett is disconcerting indeed. Moments of quality do not offest hours of inconsistency, poor decision making and poor captaincy. Razor talks the talk but has failed to walk the walk. That being said he is a far better coach than he is displaying. At least he is not the arrogant, disrespectful and blatantly incompetent Foster. Sadly the highlighting of player specialities and intellect do not mean squat when basic skills simply aren't there, I think people forget that playing rugby is a profession, passion aside, there actually needs to be accountability. Equally puedo nepotism re Team Barrett has to stop, there are a wealth of talented players in both NPC and Super Rugby who deserve exposure.
