HI Tony. I've heard of that railway never knew it was like that. It goes in for quite a bit the stations are lovely and well presented. It's only about 3 hrs from home we'll have to visit one time. At the moment we are visiting a few national trust places as we've joined up with them this year. We get free entry and car parking so just have to fuel the car up. Weather has been horrible here today plenty of flooding about but at the moment the sun is out. Till the next time take care. Malcolm and Sheila from Workington.
Hi! It’s a brilliant railway! Certainly worth a visit! I may even get back there for the Gala in October if I’m lucky! Sounds great! Should be some lovely days out for you’s. Hopefully nicer weather too! I certainly couldn’t complain about the weather over the last few days when I was out. Stayed nice and sunny yet again! My luck is bound to run out shortly!
Bury Bolton Street is an absolute gem. I was disappointed to see so few people on the train but I guess this is not a holiday destination. The station is very atmospheric, but for me as a an aging nerd I was disappointed not to see any Midland engines. City of Wells looks great but I can see these on the Southern heritage railways. Surely they have some.
Excellent, Bulleid Locos were my favourite engines on the Southern, riding between Exeter and Tavistock as a child. Thank you, well put together.
Lovely to see a Bulleid West County Class on this railway!!
Great video!! I really enjoyed watching this one!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
