FTR Hare Scramble #11 - Lake butler 05/12/2024 - Master C (10th place)

What an epic weekend, this was the very last race of the season, drove 700 miles round trip then did a 3 lap almost 2h race, all in about 24h.
I took somewhat an ok start, then the first strait was tricky, full of stumps and roots so I took it easy I didn't want to take too much risk, lots of riders passed me, then got into traffic jam as usual and got stuck for a while. For some reason I kind of fell asleep on the second lap and lost my rhythm, this is where I could have save a great amount of time and catch up with the front pack but I didn't, so I really missed a great opportunity here to do better. Third lap was about the same, and to be honest I could have done one or two more laps at the same pace, easy, I have the endurance, now I just need to go faster. I was able to keep up for a while with Howard #66c, then he made his way (he still passed me about 3 times:) but I could see it was easier than usual to keep up with him so I'm hoping I'll be able to stick with the front pack next season. Good job to Chris #287c with his Beta who passed me toward the end as during last race, you gave me a good work out buddy but unfortunately I couldn't keep up with you to battle, next season I hope!
