cool trick? what's wrong with a bicycle transmission?

WHY is the bicycle transmission so unpopular?
there is a situation when we pedal forward, but the bike does not go. asterisks simply scroll clockwise as well as counterclockwise. the wheel does not want to cling and the bike stands still. we pedal at idle. in fact, this is a malfunction of the bicycle hub drums.
