I have been to many places so far, including other cities claiming to be the nicest cities to live in. When it comes to pure living, nothing beats Münster. With a population of 300.000, it is in the sweet spot for the infrastructure it has. Talking about that infrastructure, literally everything is clean and pleasant to look at. You get a sense that this is a rich city. When it comes to spending time outdoors, the public places are incredibly beautiful and at the same time they are free to access. Wherever you live in Münster, it‘s not far to get to one of nice parks, the Aasee or whatever. Truly blessed to have experienced so many years living in this city.
I live in Münster since 1993 - I fell in love with the Prinzipalmarkt when I was about 12 years old. Your short video portrait is amazingly complete for Münster itself. And I really like it! Münster also has several suburbs like Häger, Nienberge, Hiltrup (where I live) and many more.

My wife and I are heading there next year after we RV the US. I spent some time in Germany in 99 and it was beautiful. The Rheinland Pfalz is a great area to visit. Macht spass!!

I used to come down here on my weekends off, when I was Based here at oxford barracks, roxeller strasse, Munster,DE, BFPO17 2006 to 2008, 02:55, There's a Public open and indoor pub or two, where she is walking around that area.
The Promenade on its entire route is where centuries before the old city walls stood. If you'd walked the entire route, there you could see some of the old defensiv systems from the past like the "Buddenturm" or the "Zwinger" and other places where the city moats were that secured the city.
That's neat! We were close by but not close enough to see these particular towers/fortifications. Thanks for extending the list of things to check out the next time we visit. :)
Is this in the state of Hessen? My friend lives there and has invited me to visit and I'm thinking about it if my health improves and this virus lockdown finally goes away. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! No, Münster is in North Rhine-Westphalia (to the north of Hessen). That said, both NRW and Hessen are worth exploring (when the time is right). NRW has big centres like Cologne and Düsseldorf. Hessen has Frankfurt and Wiesbaden (the latter of which we really like and would recommend).
