Tibet is definitely cheap both for rent as well as owning an apartment. Mumbai only real Estate is very very expensive almost New York or Manhattan prices in some pockets. Even in Mumbai suburbs a 1 bedroom apartment costs close to 700000 USD. Rent for a 1 bhk in Mumbai suburb is close to 600-700 USD. This video is surely exciting and encouraging to put Lhasa in travelers' list of places to visit. Honestly, I didn't have such an image of Tibet in my mind so it's very interesting to see the capital city life. Definitely impressed by the overall cleanliness in streets and roads. From the cost of living perspective, it is very hard for most places to beat Delhi (where I am) in majority of the basic essentials as comparatively it's pretty cheap which, however, comes with its own set of pros and cons.
Absolutely fantastic videos, 兄弟辛苦了! The part regarding real estate is very fascinating. Would it be possible to do a separate video just on real estate, the different districts of the city, and the qualifications to buy a property in Lhasa? Hello my friend, just out of curiosity, can you please tell me what Tibetans living outside Tibet think of China in Tibet. Do they think China is doing a good job in development in Tibet or not? I am from Nepal and I personally think Tibet is much better under Chinese rule than Dalai Lama. China has brought science, maths and uplifted the standard of living while under Dalai Lama, it was just superstition and abject poverty for the locals. That's just my personal opinion, it would be really interesting to know your view on the subject. Thank you and Tashi delek.
@@Rebelass74 what if I told you that Kathmandu would be transformed overnight into a clean modern city like Lhasa and all of Nepal would develop if you hand over Nepal’s sovereignty to China, would you accept? China has done tremendous development work in Tibet and I don’t agree with people who demonise CCP without knowing the real situation. But there’s also a thing called the right to self-determination and dignity to exist as a people. BTW even before 1959, there was no poverty to the level that it exists in Nepal or India. Even the poorest nomad family would have at least 30-40 yaks.

Wow,so cool...hardly see people wearing mask👍🏻Tibet’s in my bucket list but gotta wait for this pandemic to be over...very beautiful & modern country👍🏻🤤
This is what the West doesn't want you to see: objective reporting on China.
I think the price in Tibet is more cheaper than here in Japan you are a good karaoke singer keep it up
Very much cheaper n more beautiful than Japan, for sure!
I live in Japan for 30+ years.
Will move to China in the coming years.
The city is so clean and organized
Thank you so much for sharing with us and showing us how Lhasa looks like.🙏
Thank you very much.😘
这兄弟的名字有点像藏族的啊,海外藏人第二代?
So this video shows tibetan living a happy life in tibet ….then why u asking for freedom lol
Thank you very much.😘
Jamyang, thank you for showing us beautiful places in tibet. I love it!

Wow!!!!!! Thank you for uploading this! Appreciate itn a lot

Here in New York City living standard is very high and everything are very expensive as compared to Lhasa city,
Absolutely fantastic videos, 兄弟辛苦了! The part regarding real estate is very fascinating. Would it be possible to do a separate video just on real estate, the different districts of the city, and the qualifications to buy a property in Lhasa? Thank you so much for all that you do my friend! Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much. ❤️

That place is stunning! I want to visit one day😉❤️
how clean the city is. love from Indonesia

One of my wish is to visit Tibet. Your video is very good, loving it.
Looking forward to your visit to Lhasa
In compare to Manila, Philippines, the Lhasa,Tibet is cheaper in food, transportation, rental but buying apartment I think is expensive..western branded items is also expensive, I think local clothing is also cheaper..best is no to less traffic in city center and spacious metro. Thanks for showing Tibet. Watching from tropical island nation of Philippines.☀
Thank you very much for your kind support and for sharing the information about Manila
wish i could visit here, always been watching your videos and get inspired about your place 😊😍
So much development n through your video one kind of gets a sense of Tibet today

Very impressed how nice the city looks. Thx
Thank you very much.😘
I can totally see myself living there. Such a beautiful country!!!
Thank you very much
You live such a great live in Tibet!
How do you get those people who have been on the wrong side for 60 plus years to accept the hard truth?
They looked up at the happy Tibetan Chinese in India and envied their rich life.
India GDP per capita is one tenth of China's now.
Just ignore them
Thanks for the train connected to inland, the local price is so reasonable.
Very nicely depicted, very detailed,it is actually "TO THE POINT" to be precise. Atleast we could have a rough outline of the costs and everything which is definitely necessary when someone is travelling. Hoping to visit Tibet someday. God bless you ❤️
Tibet is very develop because of China and it's investment whereas Arunachal is still lacking basic infrastructure. Too sad 😢

So interesting to see Tibetan city life! Seems quite comparable to the UK (things like petrol and supermarkets) with some things a lot cheaper (like apartment rent) and some things a bit more expensive (like clothes). Great karaoke skills! 🎤
While their distant cousin in Nagaland states in India still live in very yesteryear cities.
When talk about Tibet people would think of potala palace. Your video is eye opening never think Tibet is that modernize. I always though Tibet is like Nepal.
Not your fault. I used to think Tibet is almost poorest area in China. But now I found it's not. The GDP per capita of Tibet is 8000 USD(shocked),higher than may other provinces .
@@猫和你都想了解 Although Tibet has a per capita GDP of US$8,000, it is still a backward area. For example, Zhejiang Province, which ranks fourth in China, has a per capita GDP of US$14,600.
While its ur not fault to think tibet was poor cuz many had not much access to it but to think that it was like nepal is a bit far stretched and shows lack of awareness on ur side….
I’m so surprised the costs of living in Tibet is too high especially for entertainment ,
From Sydney
Amazing video. Lhasa is more developed than i thought. I recommend visit kfc or pizza hut or any internatinal fast food in Lhasa, western audiences love that kind of videos to see how the menu changes by citie. I know it is not traditional to tibet but that is an idea.
Who would ho to Tibet to eat pizza? Ridiculous
