I've always said you can never have too much Mio-chan, but it still hurts to have to sacrifice them to make progress.... At the very least, we know we'll never lose our beloved Wolf Mama as long as there's a body for her to return to~

If you think about it, this is like the Ship Of Theseus Paradox. People shed bits of themselves (hair, dead skin, etc etc) and those get replaced over time. After some time, you're technically made of brand new cells, which begs the question of "is the you now still the same as the you then?", though in this case it's more "Is the Mio Mama now still the same as the Mio Mama a few moments prior?"
... I hate having to think about those kinds of questions, they give me a headache...
