It literslly just filled my heart with such joy to see Bucky flirt with Sarah. Why?? Because by the way he was smiling you could tell that in all those years he was genuinely smiling again. He wasnt forced to smile. The smile just came out naturally. Which means that for the first time in so many years he found some happiness and joy again. You could see how pure and genuine and innocent that smile. I really do love the evolution of the characters. I love Bucky asking Sam if he wants help because he can't really say "hey, I don't want to be alone right now, and we're both hurting." I love Bucky being able to let Sam in, being able to let himself be vulnerable because Sam has proven multiple times (such as during the powerbroker episode) that he will not pry at those vulnerabilities. And I love that Sam sees that Buck is vulnerable, needs someone in his corner, and unapologetically puts himself in Buck's corner.
