In Switch it runs like... not so good, load times above 1 minute, 30 fps, low resolution... It can't compete with smash in Switch of course, in other platforms, totally great!
There is an update coming out soon to fix that
@@DemonAngels7 I seriously doubt that it will run like Super Smash, the nickelodeon 1 was also this way for the entire lifespan of the game and it seems they ported it poorly this time as well. It is sad because the Switch feels like the perfect place for a retro inspired game.

Reasons it's better then Smash.
Pivot lag is almost non existent makeing grounded posistioning relevent
Fast fall feels real good making aggresive approaches and mix ups available
Grab is super powerful since it catches jump and you get a lot out of it.
Of course the gimmick, slime meter allows for a lot more expression mid fight
Ult is a solid party game, NASB has already been light years ahead in tense 1v1 battles.
Does the switch version run at 30 fps even offline?

Nasb 2 may be good but smash ultimate is still better because it has way more characters, better final smashes, and it brought back every single character from previous smash bros games

It looks great, but I'm going to wait (if they ever release it) for a physical version. I have the first one, but I want to stay physical so have something that can play on for generations like the original game systems.

@@JonTheJedi i actually played that back in the day but I really wished they didn't try to reinvent the wheel with Smash's core gameplay because trying to finish off opponents with specials instead of knocking them off the level wasn't fun in the slightest, if your gonna copy smash then just copy smash.
@@dsshocktrooper7523 yeah I agree. They definitely would need to tweak the gameplay loop a lot, but PlayStation has a huge potential to make the closest thing to a proper Smash clone since they have so many characters now.

Beware the keysites have the ultimate edition for 50ish usd but it's a steam account that you have to log into to use the game. It's not a key.

I’m thinking of getting this on Nintendo Switch, does it run well?
Currently it runs poorly compared to the other versions, 30fps and very long load times. However they stated a patch will be released soon that supposedly will fix those issues. I'd wait 'til the patch and see if they do fix it before buying, 'cause right now it's not worth it

Multiversus is coming back, the reason it went down was because it was an open beta and they were trying stuff out. I believe they'll be back some time in 2024, which is pretty dang soon, so don't worry you might still get this
