  • Quick, last minute chicken leg quarters on Easter. Seasoned with Meyer's Smokehouse Texas BBQ rub and Killer Hogs A.P. Rub. Grilled at 325° for about 45 minutes until an internal temp of about 175°. Used apple wood chunks for smoke. Skin came out fairly crispy and flavor was incredible. Not bad for a last minute cook.

    Has your charcoal chamber lid paint on the inside melted or burned up? For the 560.

      Yes it has. I placed aluminum between the hopper and the lid and it has cut down on the creosote build-up on the lid.

      @@TimHoff85 guess I'll do the same. I wonder if masterbuilt will address this issue or has addressed it. Let me know if it happens in the 1050.
