I love how much Fry's opinions have changed throughout the years... If we went back to the original tier list and told the comments then that Citron and Chompzilla would both be near top-tier, they'd DEFINITELY laugh at us lmao.
And it’s crazy how both back then AND now are both after zero updates to the game in such a long time.
It's funny how the game has such an depth of interactions that opinions changed alot in a couple of years

So many cards in this game are complete garbage to the point that often people don't think to try them out in certain decks to see if they were actually that bad, so yeah meta developments still happen sometimes
@@AloeHalo If EA and Popcap stuck with this game, it would be one of the best card games of all time! (I mean, it's already close even in the state it's in now!)

It’s impressive how much the game’s meta has changed with ANY balancing.
"Rose is disgusting" it tells a lot. Whatever you're meet Rose when you in winning or lose situation Rose it's still disgusting, probably the most toxic hero for me
Edit : just so you know rose control the most 2 annoying classes which is smarty and solar. She basically can ramp into god like legendary like bird, avocado, brainana, cob cannon and dragon. Not only that she have a way too heals herself such as lily budy, taco, astro vera, ketchup. Even budget rose it's still scary if she using the perfect deck
Nah rustobolt is waaay more toxic. Everytime I see someone run teacher going viral and trickster I want to cringe.

Welp. There goes my plans for the next 40 minutes.
Personally, as a user of a Wall-Knight healing deck, I think he can utilize it well, the only issue being that control and early game aggro can hinder it heavily, because Ketchup Mechanic can only do so much to control the early turns.
Also Wallnut Bowling is a pretty good finisher/lategame cleaner, especially since it opens up for Cob Cannon fusion, so does Poppin Poppies while powering up Pepper M.D.
Brain Freeze finally got some recognition he deserved

Would be cool to see a matchup guide for each individual top-tier deck! It would really show off Fry's knowledge and sheer time in the game
Hey Fry, I’m not sure how to recommend a deck to play, but I’d really love to see you play Ramp Dance again with Binary/flamenco/headhunter as finisher cards too. I think this deck has amazing potential after seeing how well it works with Z-Mech and Boogaloo.

@@FryEmUpGamingfry can you do a ramp deck with chompzilla where instead of ramping to things like cob and astrocado you're ramping to peas like Gatling and godfather and pod fighter I don't know if it would be good tho
Changes I'd make as someone who's played for a while :
-Smash from D to C
-Spudow from D to C
-Impfinity from S to A
-HG from A to B
-Rustbolt from B to A
The rest is imo right, I do respect the placements and understand, I'm just saying what I think as a veteran, ofc everyone thinks differently but yeah

I'd agree with all of those except impfinity. Tbh the rustbolt placement surprised me the most
Impfinity doesnt deserve S tier, high A, but not S, Impfinity isnt as good as Rose or Grass Knuckles. Got a lot of success with a discord deck called modded 2.1 to which I removed the barrels and missions to add disco dancefloor and jester, but not enough to consider it S tier...

13:36 I would say that it's more of the smarty class being complimented by the solar class than vice versa, but you get the point.
As a Rose main, I find myself struggling most against Impfinity, Huge Giganticus and Rustbolt. Immorticia, Brainstorm is sometimes a challenge.
Not a challenge if you run 4× Brainana 4× Dragon

Citron and pea nis are both interesting cause they’re a mix of a good and bad class, but what’s funny is that citron is just so much better
Its amazing how citron went from zero to hero.
I love how 4 character's abilities (only difference between carotina and citron or super-brains and huge-gigantus) can make 4 tier difference.

btw Fry Em Up ive found a way to know if u going to lose or block an game when you using like a bonus attack and the opponent has 6 block meter when you look at the button that you click when you ve finished playing your minions if its orange you dont block or you win if it isnt orange the opponents is blocking.
people explain this to me and I don't fully get it. is there a competitive use for this? like if they have three sections on the block meter, will they actually indicate if you will win the game? does this work even when you have the option of playing another card still?
@@FryEmUpGaming In some cases it can be competitive or for speeding up the game like if u conjure/draw a card and there are minions on ground, its orange if the card you draw can be still used because sometimes people just put a card that draws and then they get next round so its useful if the health of the opponent is 2 and you literally conjure a 2 attack but you miss it. i dont speak very good english but i hope that u understand btw thanks for responding im a long time fan i used to watch you on my dad account and you are the reason i countinued pvz heroes i hope there will be any set 5 or changes.

I’d be interested to see my Cycle Cap deck in a tournament.
Between the 0 cost puff shrooms, Admiral Navy Bean, Cosmic Bean giving additional team up at a low cost, Rescue Radish causing big damage and saving cards (sometimes 0 cost to add damage and draw cards) along with Sonic Bloom as the occasional needed finisher my win rate has been quite good.
I don’t use Pine Clone because the 3/3 bump isn’t really enough of a bonus since every mushroom should be 2/2 if not already 3/3 by turn 4.
Toss in Berry Blasts for early control if needed 2 Brainana’s for an overly confident opponent and it’s a really solid deck.
Run 4 brainana fpr ultimate troll
I actually have. It’s fun for the troll, but if I need to actually use two of them then something went wrong.

I recommend you to make hero tier list upon each class they control
For example for the mega grow class the best hero is grass knuckles then chopzilla then
Captain compastoplie then green shadow

Ive been grinding premium packs to get better heroes that arent starters but my luck is terrible with 5 uncommons per pack. Stinky game.
From the Scottish tier list I have the plant hero 'ROSE'
Ironic how the witch, has the best science deck XD
Beta super -> creates the card on the field now, no longer gives it Teamup or Amphibious
Lightspeed seed -> conjures a random trick and a superpower
Super Brains -> trades chop with brainstorm for summoning
Bubble Up -> now gives a plant amphibious (so you can move it to the water lane)
Whirlwind -> Bounce a zombie that with 5 or less health
Dolphinado -> Bounce a plant with 5 or less health
Green shadow super -> Now deals 5 damage on any ground lane
Heroic health -> Now increases your hero's maximum health by 6
More spore -> You can now choose where to put the first button mushroom
Dance off -> You can now choose where to put the first backup dancer
Brain freeze -> trades dolphinado with impfinity for deadly
Frozen tundra -> Freezes all plants
HG super -> conjured environment no longer costs 1 less
Ice moon -> complete rework: after combat here, freeze all plants here
Nut signal -> now conjures a nut instead of drawing a card
Time to shine -> complete rework: a plant gets double strike, draw a card
Chompzilla -> trades holoflora for time to shine from captain combustible
Chompzilla -> trades sunburn for weed wack from rose
Missile madness -> Do 3 damage, then do 1 damage to two other plants (limits the splash of the card)
Peel Shield ->now conjures a fruit instead of drawing a card
Triple Threat -> impfinity clones are no longer amphibious
These changes are made to mainly 1. balance zombie and plant heroes, and 2. balance individual powers
(however, it is noted that #1 is prioritized over #2)
The change to beta carotinas signature move literally removes what makes it unique.
Edit: Ice moons change is also terribly unbalanced. If that was how it works, then after the first combat session, plants will be in an infinite freeze cycle

Wow, PvZ heroes havent got updates since 2017, we are in 2024, and the meta always gets some change, imagine the game with balance changes, new cards and heroes.

Id put HG in S because of the pure potential it has. If you get the superpower, you win immediately. I cant count the amount of times an HG started turn 2 with like a teleportation zombie 3 dr spacetime and 3 treasure chests. So in turn 3 he just plays 3 legendaries and i lose
He's lower because if you don't get the perfect hand he can't barely do anything early game. That's why he's ranked with CC, since both have instant win potential but overall can't beat the consistency of the s-tiers
HG suffers from the fact that he dosent have early game removal and is prone to being aggro’d early on. His potential is near busted levels of op, but it requires the perfect setup.

I agree with this tier list, more acceptable than the last one because I had better results with Wall Knight and Rose than solar flare. Spudow is so fun with the transformation cards but not very good competitively. Extra question should i buy grass knuckles for fun?
