@@_P0tat07_ just had bearing in the electric drive break and got pushed through the differential case by one of the gears. Uggg. I do think they cut fine if they just worked but I guess anything 10+ years old is going to have problems.
Give me the hydraulics over the electric any day, nothing but electrical problems with that orange one besides its a Jacobsen, no thanks. Been in the golf business 40 years I like red.
I hear you man. I'm a mechanic at a golf course and we barely have any problems with our toro equipment. We have a few Jacobson's but toro is definitely the way to go.
We have the eclipse Jacobson triplex. Errors galore problems so on so on.. pls just hydraulics pls!

@@joeaholt1538 Electric does have advantages but I like the simplicity with older equipment. I do like the eclipses when they work.
Jacobsen mowers suck! So many electrical issues. We’ve gone through half a dozen electric actuators since we got one a few years ago.

I garuntee that the electric reels don't cut as sharp as the standard fairway and triplex mowers do!!!!!+
