This is one of your best lessons. Something that far gone is going to be a nightmare.
Hi Ers.I came across your vids looking for something else, and started watching.I find them most informative. It's nice to see you happy in your work and willing to share your knowledge and techniques whilst live repairing the item. You have a nice setup with quality video and sound.Best regards.Grahame
Thank you :)
Acelasi lucru mi s-a intamplat azi :)), super clipul!
you are really a sincere and truthful person
i lean so much from your video.... thank you....
This was a good one i think that's the first time i see that the psu can't deliver current through a short circuit, the wire trick is noted xD
Weird, the capacitor as been removed and the laptop cames to life again
Great video
not weird. the capacitor was creating a short-circuit situation. removing didn't only correct the situation, but also helped the other capacitors connected in parallel to charge and thus smoothen the DC needed for a good startup. note that in most cases, more than 1 capacitor is placed to do a single job, for a reason like this one and more
hello dude.ı m ur fanatic follower from turkey.sorry my english is low but ı m trying improve.ı have started to collect ur videos for my education video collection.u r number one n u know it..hahaha..kind regards.hugs from turkey without touch(cos of damn pandemic)
Sorin! Make sure you use DC current to revive yourself!
Manufacturer: "Let's not put a fan in this laptop, what could possibly go wrong?"
.
..
Two repair jobs later: "You're right, nothing at all."
i hate HP Laptops, they are crap :)
Great Job Sorin! haha customer should be charged on that repair, since it's a different issue.
Noo, you can't charge if the thing died with you :) The customer will never understand or believe
Maybe she/he will understand it once they've watched this video.. :) Anyways, You're a good man Sorin.. keep up the good work!
can i use a resistor insted of long wire ? to fool the power supply
شكرا
How do you know when a capacitor needs to be changed or not?
Lenovo x390 ThinkPad 13.3 inches backlight ..Do you know where on the board I can find the fuse etc..LCD screen I got a new one and it works. I forgot to disconnect the battery while changing the LCD
verry Nice elektro school
Bad habit. You never replace capacitors once you pull out short one. I have see you doing this in Jason's mac laptop also in other video on laptop screen and also in this video. Company put this capacitors for reasons. But i am still fan of your videos anyways 😜
Thank you Sorin, would it be possible ,, if you have the time, to give a tutorial on using a power supply even the basics what to do and what not to do regarding iPhones and laptops please, as I am afraid of blowing myself or my devices up with my new power supply, best wishes....
The best …… número uno 📺🔋📲📲
Amazing job .....! Thumbs up
I worked in a computer shop. The owner was a money hungry Ahole. He would hassle the workers to charge for this. Wish my boss was you.
good job
what is the liquid that you put to know the shorted part is it lighter fluid ?
very enjoyable, thank you ...
how to apply thermal paste plz make a video sir.
You are a god :) and good teacher. I want to be an electronic god like you :)
caps is not that important in laptops DC circuits , its just make the voltage come nicely to the components :))
are you sure? check again.
you are the best sir
I am changing display of a asus laptop i found that motherboard is not opening after it and bios chip is heating is tha same problem with u please guide ? This is not my fault
Damn it, want it to share some more schematic but youtube don't let me share the link.....Feeling like sH!t today, sick. S i hope you get well soon, great vid as always.
Thank you
Love the video
what liquid do you use for motherboards to see if the capacitor is hot?
That is just Flux
it's fuel for zippo like lighter, pink alcohol can do the same job
sir you put 4amp and how many voltage u put in the board
Omer Jaan buy a powersupply and try it out for your self. Start with high voltage and Go down to low voltage and you will se what happends. Try with some led:s
also can you let me know where you got those hand like tweezers from please ? many thanks
oh, is just a normal one but bent by hard working :)
think you
Why don't you replace the capacitor - it works and evidently doesn't need it - though
there is need to maintain the total amount of uf needed for smooth functioning and signaling and also stress reduction on the other working ones
Where are the Mosfets....
supper.
Quite a few problems with this laptop
Heh, heh hee... that was quite rare coincidence. ;)
