    Great Time Rules:
0:34 1 - SPEND MONEY TO SAVE TIME
    2:02 2 - BIG ROCKS FIRST
    6:02 3 - NO WHITE SPACE
    8:00 4 - OPTIMIZE FOR ENERGY
    10:05 5 - BATCH WORK
    12:18 6 - N.E.T. Time
    15:38 7 - NEGOTIATE THE NEED
    18:22 8 - LOOK FOR LEVERAGE

Another banger. Here is the 10,000 foot overview:
00:00 - Spend money to save time
Prioritize time over money. Outsource tasks that don't help you grow.
    02:00 - Big Rocks first
Focus on the most important tasks first (big rocks), then smaller tasks (pebbles and sand).
    06:00 - No white space
Avoid unproductive gaps in your calendar. Schedule everything, including breaks and decompression time.
    07:58 - Optimize for energy
Know your energy levels and schedule tasks accordingly. Morning for creative work, afternoon for meetings, etc.
    10:05 - Batch work
Group similar tasks together to minimize context switching and maximize focus.
12:16 - Net time (No Extra Time)
Use otherwise idle time (commuting, exercising) for productive activities like calls or meetings.
    15:36 - Negotiate your needs
Set expectations with others to protect your time and align your commitments with your goals.
    18:19 - Look for leverage
Use content, code, capital, and collaboration to maximize your output without increasing the time spent.

The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

It is remarkable how much long term

instead of trying to be very intelligent.

The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

Biggest takeaway that'll change my days is that you don't manage your time, you manage your energy. This alone is a game changer for me. Adding Batch Work and No White Space will immediately increase my productivity. When I have free space on my calendar, I tend to screw around which leads to bleed time into the things I need to get done. That leads to shorter time blocks for the stuff I need to get done. Good stuff Dan. Thank you.

Ok, I hardly EVER comment on ANY video on UA-cam. But I had to leave a comment on this one because of how much of a difference it’s making in my thinking .. rule #1 is absolute gold.. and I have to admit I was the one sacrificing time to save a few bucks here and there. Your information has completely changed the way I think. I will implement a lot of these things into my life and business.. thank you!

Love your content, Dan. Especially how you emphasize energy management and also batch working. Most people don’t understand that even when you’re „good“ at task switching you lose vast amounts of speed, efficiency and energy while mostly delivering a lower quality of work because your entire headspace is not focused in the right direction. 🙏🏽

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.

    • @JacquelinePerrira
      @JacquelinePerrira 2 місяці тому +6

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

This is helpful, especially the year planner prioritizing the big rocks. I’m planning Q4 right now, so I’ll start there. Thanks!

Love the one-on-one scooter meetings, and the founder hikes. I've been time blocking for years, sub consciously Ive been batching without the degree of identifying it. Lastly, I prioritize by using what I call the "stop light theory". I use Red, Yellow, and Green Post It notes to prioritize my work. Red, is a hot tasker, needs to get done in24 hours... Yellow, there is a due date and it's coming up...Green, is a nice to have but if there is no time to get after it, no worries. These task could change color as time goes on...Gren to Yellow, Yellow to Red.

Thank you this is all amazing advice and a lot you hear from other successful people in different terms. Two of my favourite quotes are work on yourself more than your job and if you always do what you've done you'll always get what you've always got. And applying the scientific method to your own life allows you to do this. Knowledge comes from experiences but its the application of this knowledge and awareness which is wisdom.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Kimberly A. Doran

Anyone can achieve anything by judging from the other side.

I wake up at 2am, run a marathon by 2:05, then I reflect on the world while doing hot yoga in a volcano, read ten books, trade crypto and make a million dollars by 5am. I then have a plate of air for breakfast as I’m fasting for a year then i go to the office in my Ferrari that i had converted to be powered by the tears of poor people.
