Past Transformer movies, the villains need some kind of ultimate weapon or doomsday device to either conquer or destroy Earth. But here the artifact is not going to destroy the world it's the villain that is going to destroy the planet. The roles are reversed, and I know Unicron needed the key. But I find it funny, the villains from past films needed the artifact/doomsday weapon to achieve victory. Here it's opposite and this defeat of Unicron was only a temporary solution and that world ending threat could still come back to threaten our heroes later obviously.

1:20 is the best
It's funny that scene where Optimus destroyed the key and close the portal on Unicron. It's like Ron Perlman's Hellboy final.
