Drawing for kids can be a fun and creative activity! Here's a simple step-by-step guide:
==Choose your drawing tool: Pick a pencil, crayon, or marker. For shading, pencils are best because you can vary the pressure to create different shades.
==Choose your shapes: Start with simple geometric shapes like circles, squares, triangles, or rectangles. You can also combine shapes to create more complex objects.(here i have used all 3 shapes)
==Draw the shapes: Use a pencil to lightly sketch the shapes on your paper. You can overlap shapes or arrange them in different ways to create interesting compositions.
==Select your subject: Start with something simple, like a ball or a fruit. Simple shapes are easier for kids to shade.
==Draw the outline: Sketch the outline of your subject lightly. It doesn't have to be perfect; it's just a guide.
==Identify the light source: Decide where the light is coming from. This will determine where the shadows fall.
==Start shading: Shade lightly in areas that would be darker, based on where the light source is. For example, if the light is coming from the right, shade the left side of the object darker.
==Blend the shading: Use your finger or a tissue to gently blend the shading. This creates a smoother transition between light and dark areas.
==Add details: Once you're happy with the shading, you can add details like highlights or texture lines.
==Practice: The more you practice, the better you'll get at shading. Encourage kids to experiment with different techniques and subjects.
