This is one of the best Millbank bag videos I have seen. You went into super detail and, for the visual learners like me, the pinecones help visualize the nasties to be removed. The humor is a bonus!
Just ordered Joe, great demo still don't know what that first word was haha. I'm from wales been a subscriber for a while I'm looking forward to using it on my channel. of course i will share the link, cause people are bound to ask about it..
Once the water is added to a milbank bag, I didn't realize you had to wait a bit for a good amount of water to filter through BEFORE collecting it in your water bottle. I thought you could collect it as soon as it started passing through the bag. I've seen several milbank bags and have noticed no markings to let a person know when to collect the water. What would you do in that situation if you were being really careful? Interesting tidbit of data I wasn't aware of. Nice video. Thanks
Great video! Thank you. How long does it take for the bag to filter roughly? I'm intending to use a Grayl afterwards and hoping the Millbank as a first stage filter will be pretty quick.
Awesome video! Milbank banks are the best. I recently got a Jerven Hunter as a handy item mostly for day hikes in case of emergency, there aren't a heap of good videos out there in English about this bit of fantastic gear, maybe you could share your thoughts on it in the future.
The moment my kid wakes up from his nap I'm watching this again with him. Great teaching style my friend, very easy to understand and follow.

Wow brother thank you ! Glad it communicated across as its the same way I learn
One of the best demonstrations & explanations on water purification vs water disinfection.
As always Yankee your good words are held in high regards in this cabin 🤜🏼🔥🤛🏼

@rusty9045 the reason you wait is so you don’t get any runoff from the outside of the bag going into your collection container.
nice video thanks
you're very welcome.
Loved the K.I.S.S
method
Simple and full of information
Thanks brother for all you do for us
Happy Sunday brother ! Hope you and the great Traci are enjoying the day
@@inforestsandlands we are my friend you and the lovely Ida have a great day as well
Very interesting, I'll take a closer look at the milbank bag.
Great instructional video. I learned stuff 😉🤩😊
Well that makes it all worthwhile my friend ! Thanks for watching and hope your having a good day 🤜🏼🔥🤛🏼

It definitely aint the fastest. Look at 10 to 20 minutes depending on the water and the saturation of the bag
@inforestsandlands I've ended up using a coffee filter basket as a very quick filter.for large sediment, followed by the Grayl. Thanks for the video.
Perfect Joe 👍
Great video 💯🙏
Top of the morning my man. Thank you and I hope the week treats yah well 🤜🏼🔥🤛🏼
Very clear and informative.
How's Joe?
Paul ! I'm good brother. You doing well ?

I love mine. A great idea for a video now that the snow is heavy on the ground. Consider that one in the mix. 👍🏼
Great video, really helpful.
Any chance you could provide a link to the 2l water bag you talk about?
UA-cam doesn't like when you post links sadly. But they are available on amazon. Ita the "hydrapak 2L seeker"
@@inforestsandlands legend, I've been considering something like that for a bit.
Nicely done brother
Thanks, Big man !
I had one issued to me in the army as a combat medical technician
Really ?? I take it that its not about anymore? Also, thank you for your service.
Hi joe does the grayl type filter remove all chemicals? Also love Sweden would love to live there👍
It does brother. Its one of those " one shot one kill" type deals. But without the chemicals that give you extra fingers hahaha
I’ll take ten
Very nice my friend 🤠
Appreciate it , brother 🤜🏼🔥🤛🏼
Project bluebeam 😂
Those that know, know haha
