  • A year ago I found this lake which is about 60km east of Vancouver and I decided to fish it.
If you have watched that video then you already know I enjoyed myself a lot day.

    • GREATER VANCOUVER | BF...
This lake has/had a good population of wild rainbows and Cuties but looks like someone introduced bass and, yellow perch in this lake.
It had been a year since I fished this lake and just recently I got my self a Tucktec folding Kayak so I decided it will be a perfect lake to try the Tucktec at, since this lake requires about 400m hike down to the water.
I explained a bit about Tucktec in this video and shared my experience fishing from it. I do not have any complains about the kayak other than experiencing some discomfort with the seat when fishing.
I was using BFS (Bait Finesse System) gear today
    Kastking Zephyr BFS
    Ace Hawk AG venom
    Telescopic BFS rod from AliExpress
For ultralight spinning I was using
    Okuma Ceymar c10
Telescopic ultralight spinning rod from Aliexpress
    Lures:
    Booyah Micro pond Magic Spinnerbait
    Paddle tail
    Trout Magnet
I try to record my experiences fishing and fish for Bass around Vancouver at

@@KeepCastingNW the other side is really nice, wish I had some bigger swimbaits/lures that day.

You might have not put the skeg down to help with the wind turning the boat

That yak looks sketchy haha. Good to see it held up. Haven't been there this year; all I got was dinks last time. Looks like the fish are growing a bit.

It's actually not that bad, didn't feel tippy. But I won't go without a life jacket on it
The bass on the west side/main access are still really small and schooling up with pumpkinseed.
The other side is deeper and had some good ones that I could see with my naked eyes.

Nm... 10 minute hike 😀 inflatable is asking for trouble. Good work out there and great option

Lol, yeah! Getting up was a little tough but i can do it once a while.
Yeah i never liked an inflatable one. I would love to have a proper kayak though. I am eveying the Pelican catch mode 110 lol. Maybe next season or the year after.

@@crankbaiter_fishingI do like ability to hike into secluded spots 👍 I'm using a basic 10' Lifetime Tamarack currently. Definitely need to find accessible put-ins, kayak cart, or else you drag it down there!
