I didn’t know about nana until queendom puzzle, she looks like chuu from loona mixed with yoon from stayc. I think their both great so I mean the comparison as a compliment
Nana was main vocal on Billionaire, the entire song is her deep voice... also in Rush Hour she is only using her natural deep voice.. you should check out those performances again Also, if you like old RV and Twice songs, then woo!ah! is a group you really need to check, they are like a mini RV, they even did a Power Up cover special stage Nana is not main vocal in woo!ah!, but her voice is definitely one of the most unique
EL7Z UP is a girl group which was formed through Mnet's "QUEENDOM PUZZLE". The members belong to different groups. The group is composed of 7 members : Nana (The leader of woo!ah!), Yeonhee (Rocket Punch), Kei (Lovelyz), Yeeun (CLC), Yeoreum (WJSN), Hwiseo (H1-KEY) and Yuki (PURPLE KISS). They debuted on September 14, 2023 with 'CHEEKY' MV and '7+UP' Mini Album.
The debut was really underwhelming, I knew basically everyone (except Fye and Miru) on the show and given the lineup I was hoping they finally got a lineup that could bring back a more mature concept and sound to K-pop, not sexy but something that gives the feeling of being watching grown women. But no, we had to revert them to teen-crush. The song itself is questionable but it’s not even its biggest flaw. They did not let Yuki and Yeeun write their own raps, which regardless of the length of this particular contract is a crime, especially since this is a group made of different known people, so it should be used to propel their careers further. Instead we got something an intern wrote right beside the coffee machine while they were waiting for prints to come out. I also am not on board with this seemingly NCT-fication of K-Pop. I don’t have beef with the group(s) itself but I also do not want everything to sound like them either. Another questionable part to me was the decision to basically focus the debut on Hwiseo when it was made the decision to have Kei on board. I do personally feel like Kei’s voice/singing style sticks out too much in the group and that’s why I never voted for her in the show but since she is in and she is by far the best singer in the group why not use her? Did we really have to have her moving to the side at 7:31 for some mere adlibs just to manufacture a meaningless “Kei time”? Not to mention that is not even part of the actual performance because, OFC, unless someone is there slaying high notes like a air raid siren no one usually sings adlibs live nor give it so much relevancy. I stan Woo!Ah! and CLC, I really like RCPC and WJSN and I’m a big Hwiseo fan after the show, this was NOT IT.
@@user-tw1zv8ki9q more than anything they used her wrong. Because the song is wrong and it is so especially for her. And if you read further you can see that I did not even want her in the group because I don’t think she would have fitted in vocally. But since she was there and she is a good vocalist they should have used her strengths, which I feel they didn’t.
Unrelated comment, are you still into Mamamoo? Wheein just released a solo. Plus moonbyul has great vocals on second world. Make sure to watch her sing “refuge”! 😊
This is a good debut!! but it was obviously all pre-prepared, I hope the next cb will cater more to everyone's strengths!

i liked all but one song on first listen. the title track just makes me really happy, it’s definitely not what i expected though!
This might be the first time we agree on favorite songs, I’ve playlisted just Undercover and Hideaway

The main vocalist of woo!ah! is the maknae Minseo but Nana is the leader, main dancer, lead vocal and lead rapper.

Hwiseo won the show though 😭 and is the 2nd best singer in the group. You can’t seriously be annoyed that they’re focusing on her.
@@user-tw1zv8ki9q that’s not what I wrote
@@OpinionatedMatt you’re saying they didn’t use Kei enough but that’s just wrong
