Agreed, 100%! I have been working with Photoshop for ages -- from the day it was released, in fact, many years and many versions ago :) And in all those years of PS experience, I have never met a more engaging and thorough instructor than Unmesh! May PIXImperfect reign a thousand years!
I was looking for something like this. I was given perspective images of a cosmetic (cylindrical) product and needed to flatten out the label to use as a texture to wrap on a 3D model. This method is doing the trick for the most part in unwrapping the label! Thank you.
You are amazing! You have just single-handedly enabled me to fix some crazy distortion in my drone photos. I could not have done that without this video. Thank you so much
This is really helpful. I was working on a couple of stitched vertical panoramas and I used the fisheye and panorama settings to make things square up. You don't waste time in your videos, you just get to the point quick! So it is easy to back up and find a point if I have questions later.
I ran into this problem when stitching panoramas. One thing to remember, is shoot a little wide, because anamorphic cropping is inevitable! Some smartphones have pretty good apps for automating this process, but I haven't found a decent plug-in for PS yet. Thank you for this tutorial!
Great! Could you make a video explaining how to fix the distortions on the sides of a picture? I'd like to RESIZE, but maintaining the size in the middle.
Love the video. Your mantra could just as easily be "keep learning" in addition to "keep creating". I have tried using warp to fix distortions and this is a better way. However, can you tell me if it is normal to lose image quality when you apply or correct distortions since it manipulates the pixels (compressing or stretching groups of pixels)? I have found when I stitch panoramas and then try to fix distortions that occur on the edges, I get a loss of image quality. I discovered that when I added one of the original photos as a layer to my panorama and discovered the individual photo was much sharper than the same area in the panorama. Is this a result of stitching, warping or both? When I compared a panorama that was not corrected for distortion, I found a minimal loss of image quality but not nearly as much. I believe probably both have an effect on image quality. It is driving me crazy because the whole reason for making the panoramas is to get large sharp images. Anybody have any thoughts?
Amazing man :) I just bough a fisheye lens and couldn't really do anything with it because I was disappointed by distortion correction in Lightroom... And this is much better :D
Why you use content aware when you want to crop the area that you fill it? Why you didn't crop the image right after distortion correction? You have an amazing channel by the way and thanks for your nice job
You guy are good. I really appreciate all these helps. thank you. But, pls how do I master the photoshop very well and be an expert like you so i can help other people? Is it only "keep practicing" thing? Your reply is deemed grateful.
Thanks for this video. Can you make a video on how to add distortion to an image and make it look like it's taken from a fisheye or ultra wide angle lens?
Hi Unmesh you are the best teacher Just In this distortion video I tried in original photoshop 2020 but when i click on one point and while clicking second end line go straight it won't go curve why I don't no can you please reply it
@@lamarrion i have been using affinity and i have enjoyed it more than indesign and illistrator. I have not yet gotten affinitt photo but i have no doubt itll outmatch photoshop
@@jetlag1488 you can consider that saving 50 bucks monthly (what you spend monthly in a creative cloud membership) will give you a chance to buy such a nice wide lens. Or like I said, Hemi Plug-in is another great option 👍
could you explain the difference between fisheye and perspective? if you hold shift the line is going to be purple and straighten + make it 0 or 90 degrees
Hi Unmesh, is there a way you can show us to straighten slight distortions? I'm having trouble doing so with the new version of photoshop straightening architectural lines of buildings, etc. taken with 12-24mm lens. The new anchoring point system is doing my head in. Thanks.
Hey Unmesh, I found a simple way to convert HEIC format to PNG, Please make a video on this and upload it on your channel, this might help many others Step 1: Open HEIC image in Paint Step 2: Save as PNG.
Thank you Unmesh! I’ll certainly be using this technique. You’re absolutely the best Photoshop teacher out there!

Thoughts on Affinity, Corel, Adobe?

Also you can photograph with a zero distortion Ultra wide-angle Laowa 9mm f/2.8 prime
Or you can use Fisheye-Hemi Plug-In
That lens costs a lot. I'd rather have a cheaper fisheye lens and the option to straighten photos.
