Saw them in Palatine Illinois played this song I had to catch a train to get back to Woodstock Illinois and remembered this song playing as I was getting on the train. Unforgettable.
Heard it on XM Deep Tracks and it did the same for me. My SO is ticked at me because I got home and she is not the center of my attention right now. It rivals Hendrix, and that's saying a lot.
still one of my all time favorite blues bands discovered them back in mid 90's and saw them play new haven and foxwoods all the time with Kenny Wayne Shepard both big time blues ass kickers and this recording of red house alone rips it huge Jimi would be proud :)
Yeah I came across them as an impressionable teen in about 1998 at Wal Mart one fateful night and bought the Things We Do cd and have been getting my face melted ever since. I actually got to meet Mato around this time and get his autograph when I saw them opening for Buddy Guy and I think I was literally the only person there that knew all about them. I was on the front row and as soon as they were done I walked right over to Mato and asked him to sign my ticket and he did. I still have it to this day. Then when this album came out I actually was at the store to get it the day it released and I was the first person in the store that day to get it and they didn't even know who this band was at the store where I got it. LOL! This is EASILY my favorite cover of this song ever. If you want to see something awesome though there is this dude that's like Mato's cousin or something that plays this with him in a video I saw once and that dude can rip too.
Who the hell can give this a Thumbs Down. Mato Nanji is on a whole different level.
