A guy who caused the rule book to be rewritten several times honestly kind of deserves a spot in the HOF. Junior Johnson was the same way.

I'm sorry for you people who doesn't believe in the Hendricks stable, but Chad is the best crew chief ever in my own opinion, 7 championship in 10 years is very fromnonible to actually achieve in Nascar and please remember during that time period, the car was changed several times and the point structure as well completely 😊😊

Pretty classy! He is the anti-thesis of what people who aren't familiar with stock car racing would picture as a crew chief.

Jimmie became a smart businessman. Loyalty can only take you so far, and While JJ was loyal to Chevy throughout his career behind the wheel, Chevy wasn't being loyal to the team he now owns. He wasn't getting the direct tech support that the other teams were. They had to depend on second or third hand information. Chevy abandoned HIM, he did not abandon Chevy. Toyota came along and offered direct face to face tech support for this new team, and Chevy did not. When you're a business, and people depend on you for their livelihoods, you go to what pays the bills. Loyalty never puts food on the table.

@@arthuralford yes I agree, but how far could you go without winning? while I don’t like chase as much as I used to but he had a winless year CHASE E FOR CRYING OUT LOUD . (I like Larson more) But what I was saying isn’t a Darlington win enough for a back marker team? its incredible even stenhouse won the Daytona 500 in 23!
