thanks for the VOD upload, Freya !
Freya you are a huge inspiration to me!!
Huge thanks for providing those detailed timestamps! :)
Omg, you were 22 when you launched Shader Forge? I'm 19 and I haven't done much. You are awesome!
Excited for the Math book.😍
you
are
amazing
Really appreciate you talking about burnout!
Waiting for your upcoming book!👍🏻
I am bad for the work from home a lot as I freelance from home I will say I am done for the day but randomly pick it up after hours because something drives me crazy. But I seem to be managing the burnout. Also keeps me motivated, same with having my own side projects helps just being able to break stuff up.
Nice to know that other people dislike using JavaScript, especially someone like you Freya.
The Math Book is very promising! Ima hop on Patreon and support ya.
Your book of math reminded me directly of Lockhart's Lament which is a very compelling essay n shares a similar ideology to yours. Just wanted to share in case anybody interested in case it wasn't read
Hi Freya,
What would you recommend as a fun little project to do when you are lacking creativity?
I'm thinking messing around with API's and mathing around, but i would like your suggestion on this.
I haven't watched any of your material yet because i'm lazy, but it seems valuable knowledge 👍
2:22:22 The sad thing is that those people often get promoted
About the Math Book, it is really hard to look up the mathematical hieroglyphics when you don't already know what they are called.
Waiting for the best math book ever...
Can u make advanced third person controller and with explain in unity we would love to watch and learn from u
Sadly I broke the 256 likes the video had before :/
Thx for the burnout advice, the Person I work for messages me at any hour of the day and on weekends and this is my first proper job, so your advice on setting boundaries gives me some good pointers ;)
I guess the 2d head would be made of 2d molecules that have no volume... but they still assert force I guess so the force would raise the water a minuscule amount, lol
Here's the link to the Math Book Freya shared on the video in case someone is interested in studying the topics covered docs.google.com/document/d/1MqCm4FAygBaL0p89Axh4ouHsWBkFyqpd5wf-TNtQf6A/edit
Is TheMessyCoder an Australian? Mob is just like a group over here in Aus.
Link to the outline of the book for all you folks:

she is transgender?
(whithout negative, just interesting)
@@kamilmackiewicz4848 not just trying, I think she's pretty much a woman. I didn't know she wasn't, until I watched a stream where she mentioned it. The glasses are so cute on her and the content is better quality than anything else on shaders!
@@megamaster7667 If you couldn't immediately tell from his appearance and then his voice, you don't have enough experience with actual females.
There is a video where Freya is playing Factorio in 2018 in the videos section.
@@megamaster7667 You'll be a woman, once you get periods, labor pains, desire to become a mother, become a mother.
But (s)he's a genius any ways. Alan Turing was also a genius, but was jailed for being homosexual. After the experience we had with Alan Turing, we decided to not jail these people any more. It's just worrying though, that transgenders often regret their operations at a later age. Just stay safe Freya, we all love you.
@@SugarCrazedInsomniac Getting the full picture of really being a woman, is not reducing womanhood. Contrary. My point was, that it is trans folk that reduce womanhood or manhood.
There are many ways of having an identity crisis in puberty, having operations based on such doubts are a very high risk. Trans people will never really be the opposite sex, and claiming otherwise is a lie.
There may be people that can serve society by being trans, but they will maintain what they are. Women can not produce sperm, men can not have babies, period. Being a man or a woman is not only an identity, it also comes with duties one can not avoid.
Gawd, this is cringeworthy.
