This is just shameful. Don't the students know that those thousands of dollars in loans just aren't enough to sustain colleges? How are the owners going to afford their next yacht if the students aren't buying hundreds of dollars in books too?

Sarcasm and joking aside. It is the right of every individual to have access to knowledge. This website is perfect for this. You get the book, if you like it and found it useful and if you have the money buy it or donate directly to people who wrote it. If you have no money or didn't like the book just don't spend money. Paywalls to knowledge are exactly what makes poor communities poorer and what makes people uneducated and just less sane. Do yourself and world a favor and use this and promote this as knowledge must never have a paywall. If you want to support authors just donate to them directly, it is not like they get most of what you pay for a book anyways.

I seem to be having a problem of NOT downloading a book. Not sure if it’s me, but I did move across states, which could be an internet provider thing. Wondering if other people are experiencing the same problem of NOT downloading a book. I also made sure to NOT use a vpn and NOT change my location outside of the US.

If some misguided person were to do this (which they shouldn't), what would be their risk of acquiring a computer virus from one of these files?
My friend's uncle's sister in law who knows a guy that recently met a lady who is a misguided acquaintance of someone said that they have never acquired a computer virus from doing this so long as they click on the correct spots. They also mentioned they use a VPN and allow their computer(windows) to keep all of its security features on(including virus protection) and still have never found a virus.

It’s been a while since I’ve done quantum, but the basics is essentially linear algebra using Dirac notation.
I switched to Mathematics PhD and just a month ago received word that I passed all of my qualifying exams. So now I finally have some “free” time if thats a thing in grad school. Perhaps I’ll make some linear algebra videos and also show the Dirac notation equivalent for use in QM.

My friend who doesn’t use this has never had a virus. My friend also uses NordVPN (link in description) when they don’t access the site. Also, my friend usually uses Windows when they don’t use this site which has built in virus protection.

Those pop ups and all the extra crap loaded into these types of websites to track, and extract data from you is ridiculous. That’s why I put a NordVPN link in the description. It’s relatively cheap and offers great protection while on the internet.
The only time I don’t use a vpn nowadays is if I’m playing call of duty or some high paced multiplayer game.

Most OSes these days have built in virus protection. Also, use a vpn like the one in the description to protect your internet traffic everywhere. The people I know that have used this site have not received viruses. I think it would harm the “business” model of the site, advertisements.
