Hyundai Sonata 2012 Radio Reset

If your 2012 Hyundai Sonata radio stops working it could be that the fuse for the radio has come loose. The best thing to do is to remove the fuse panel, depress the side of the yellow tab, pull the tab out, wait 5 seconds push it back in and start your car and your radio should be working. If that doesn't work it could be that you need to replace the radio all together. According to the Hyundai dealership, after driving my car for 6 years, they suspected that the the fuse became loose from driving over potholes. They also stated that radio is covered under warranty for 3 years or 60,000 miles. To change the radio would cost $1000.

Thanks for the video! Only comment to possibly improve this process is that you must keep the double fuse out for at least a minute to allow the system reset itself. This is what I had to do. Thanks again.

Thank you for passing this video! My 2013 Sonata 2.0t had the same problem. Touch screen display showed radio/Bluetooth/phone was working but no sound came from the speakers. This reset the radio and brought the sound back! Just have to redo all my presets 😂

You had a top rated video on google when I searched for this issue. I can understand why, because this was my issue and this fixed it immediately. I also found out the previous technician left a rats nest of electric tape in my fuse box, so will look into getting that fixed soon(tm).
