Thank you for sharing your experience. My son who is 21 years old was just diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis and did his 3rd shot a couple of days ago. He feels pretty lousy, but I'm finding that things get better in time.
AllotmentBen it took a few months to kick in but honestly I can not explain how much of a difference this injection has made to my health. It's changed my life... and that's not just hyperbole. It's the honest truth. I even exercise these days. Good luck with your treatment Ben x
Humira was treating my Polyarticular Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had diarrhea and stomach pain and burning when I urinated and I was up at 10:00p.m. vomiting. I also had pain in every joint.
I remember the medicine also made me very tired and I almost fell a sleep on both of my brothers floor. My brother Bradley was 7 years old at the time and my brother Brandon was 5 years old. When Brandon saw that I was ready to fall asleep he started slapping me in the face telling me I couldn’t go to sleep I had to stay awake.
I’m kinda nervous, I start Humira for my Ulcerative Colitis and I’m having it done at home. I don’t know how I’m going to react and I hope it’s not too painful. Thank you for sharing this video
The specialist told me if you feel a cold coming on, think you're getting sick, hold off on the humira. I'd.. Be concerned about taking a strong immune suppressant whilst sick. Pretty sure you could just not take it for one week and do it the following week on the usual day you inject. Glad for you though. Hopefully eventually your body learns how to make it all work together and you don't have anymore pain. I'm taking it for psoriasis because it's just got so bad. It's on my face and my scalp is so tight my left side of my face near my eye is tight and not easy to move. Raising that eyebrow feels funny.. Lol. Can feel the whole left side of my scalp move. And it's on both sides of my jaw and chin. Forearms and shins. Hopefully I'll never have to worry about topical steroid again. Or tanning. Which is also bad lol. Thanks for sharing.
David Norris Hi David. That’s for the message. I’ve now been on Humira a year and a half and it’s working so well for me. It’s honestly changed my life. I no longer feel the pain I used to and the side effects moved on pretty quickly. It’s a fantastic treatment.
Cashmere And Pain wow that's awesome. I'm only on my 3rd shot so far. Took it this past Sunday. I feel a little hazy when I do it. But this last time wasn't so bad. I think it helped that I had enough to eat and plenty of water. Last time was my first dose which was two shots at once. I worked a full shift at work only two days later and I definitely feel weird at work. But I think I'm already getting acclimated to it. I'm glad for you that you're being able to live a more pain free, joy filled life. I just hope that it does clear all of the psoriasis on my body all together. I still feel some tightness and dryness on my scalp that seems to affect the muscles around my left eye and left side of my scalp. But I think that will subside in a month or so after my skin has been completely clear for a long while. Well you take care.

Justin J Joachin don’t be nervous. It’s a fantastic treatment and not at all painful. Good luck with your treatment!
I’m starting it soon for Crohn’s soon and I feel the same. How did your treatment go?
