Watch this vlog if you want to catch us on our Club Mahindra holiday, devouring an amazing meal at a Goan institution called Longuinhos. This is one of the best restaurants in Margao City.

LONGUINHOS, MADGAON
Located in the heart of Margao City, Longuinhos is a restaurant we've been visiting for a decade and we can't get enough of the food here. The food is homely and absolutely delicious. It offers both A/C and Non-AC seating. Brilliant Cashew Fenny available. DO NOT MISS EATING HERE!! It's one of the best places to visit in Margao.

PEDROS, BENAULIM
Pedros is a quaint little restaurant that's smack on the beach at Benaulim. It plays host to some lively bands and DJs. Highly recommend the pasta here and also the prawn wafers, batter fried squid and certain Goan specialties. Great for an evening drink and dinner. The Fenny is excellent here too.

What was the cost of our meal at Longuinhos?
In this vlog, we had a very large meal at Longuinhos in Margao market area. One of the best restaurants in Margao, here we ordered the Prawn Stuffed Papad, Batter Fried Squid, Pork Hadmas (pronounced aadmas), Pork Sorpotel, dinner rolls and steamed rice. We washed this down with some Cashew Fenny + Limca, the Cashew Fenny the restaurant brews themselves. It's delicious!! Our total bill for this meal came to INR 1,392/- (Food: INR 1,008/- & Alcohol: INR 384/- inclusive of taxes) It really is one of the best restaurants in Goa. Don't confuse this place with Longuinhos Beach Resort Goa / Longinus Beach Resort Goa which is at Benaulim Beach.
How much was the cook book?
Ivo Almeida Coutinho's Goan Cuisine cookbook 'A day in the life of a Goan Kitchen' is available for sale at the restaurant and also online - / a.day.in.a.goankitchen We bought our copy at the restaurant Longuinhos aka Longinos Goa / Hotel Longines Goa / Longuinhos Goa Beach Hotel for INR 400/-. Thank you Ivo, the traditional goan recipes are absolutely delicious!!
What was the cost of our meal at Pedros?
In this vlog, we had a nice dinner and drinks session at Pedros Bar & Restaurant in Benaulim. We ordered the Prawn Wafers, Butter Garlic Prawns, Shark Ambotik, and Steamed Rice. To drink Jasmin had a Gin and Tonic and Ajay had a Cashew Fenny with Limca. The Cashew Fenny the restaurant brews themselves. It's great too. Our total bill for this meal came to INR 1,202/- (Food: INR 1,092/- & Alcohol: INR 110/- inclusive of taxes). This too is one of the best restaurants in South Goa / best places to eat in Goa.

Cost of food at Longino s / Pedro's vs club mahindra resort?? Did u eat at club m how was their food?
To me the cost of food was reasonable and totally worth every penny at Longuinho’s (depending on how many dishes are ordered around Rs. 700-900 for two people for meals without alcohol ... I would recommend mainly Goan delicacies in both places. And they both serve fabulous Cashew Fenny) ... Pedro’s food is priced ok so mid range I would say (around 1000-1200 per meal for two). Club Mahindra has daily food packages that work out more economical than individual meals there but because their menu is pretty basic fare and not really based on authentic local cuisine, we prefer to eat out at local places. Food is ok-ok at Club Mahindra, honestly IMO. A breakfast-lunch-dinner package for 1 adult works out to around Rs. 2,300 per head per day inclusive of taxes (you can use meals across two days also so if you buy the package at lunchtime, you can use lunch, dinner and next day breakfast). If ordering room service at Club Mahindra I find that the non-veg Biryani was the best of the items we tried, so we usually stick to ordering that when we stay in (mostly turns out the same across the club mahindra resorts). You’re right buddy unfortunately the locations were pretty noisy (as pretty popular) so equipment wasn’t great at cancelling all the background noise out. Sorry about that. Hope you try watching one of our other videos too. Most of the others don’t have this issue.
