True! Fun Fact: Luigi cannot take damage. If he takes damage, he won't die the first time but he will lose his stretch ability (he got it from a weird mushroom powerup)
I think it's safe to say that the weird mushroom is the most OP powerup in the Level Up universe.

Effects of the weird mushroom are never consistent - it was OP for Luigi by giving him this... anomaly... and it was OP for Mario when it turned him into Pac-Man, but Waluigi is never as lucky.
There are two unique types of Luigis I see on Level UP. The one that doesn't do anything and the one that stretches his body. I'm not even sure which one to prefer honestly. It's impressive to see that Luigi is able to finish almost all of your mazes with only 1 life.
Both are one. Just different forms. I will get a C strike from team lv up for revealing lore now, goodbye!

I agree. It was funny the first few times... then it turned into a meme, and that's when it became stale.
Besides, Luigi is well known as Mario's sidekick, with a "second banana" syndrome; it kind of behooves him to try and prove himself (even if he doesn't really need it). So, it is even better to see him actually doing everything he can.
