This technique called TAHRIR in persian traditional music and this is simple mode 😂if you want hear to advanced technique plz listen SANAMA by HOMAYOON SHAJARIYAN live in wachington dc
The good thing about your reactions is that you actually analyse the song and the techniques. You don't just close your eyes, listen and say "What a great song". Great job. I enjoy your reactions...
Thanks Nina for watching another Persian song. You did the TAHRIR amazingly. You're one of the best musical commentators IMO. Please do more of Persian music. BTW, man in Persian means me.
@@ninaschofieldYES! I didn't expect a non Persian could do our tahrir like you did! I promise you are so talented in all Eastern musics! Please take it serious and try it!!! 😍😍😍
I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying your commentary! I'm glad you're also enjoying listening to these songs :] And your mini tahrir was very beautiful! For more persian songs by singers you've already listened to I'd recommend "Ahay Khabardar" by "Homayoun Shajariyan" the lyrics are very deep and it's a very beautiful song imo! And umm for a more personal request(?) Lol I actually have no idea if you'll like this song or if you can find a good quality of it cause it's very old but I'd say lyrically it's a very beautiful song and very nostalgic the song is called "koodakane" (کودکانه) by "Farhad" For a long time I knew this song as "booye eidi" it's not a song of my generation but it's a very nostalgic and beautiful song imo Persians use shamsi calendar and our new year is the first day of spring and in tradition, families gather together to celebrate this day and the older generation give presents to the younger family members. the present is usually new/fresh money (idk how to describe lol sorry) but this present is called "eidi" this song describes the memories shared in this gathering as small children and the joy of getting eidi and the lyric is just nostalgic for any person that has grown up in Iran oh and just to clarify this is not a traditional persian track honestly I opened youtube for this song tonight but here I am watching reaction videos lol Sorry for rambling on I was quite sad but watching you enjoy our music and your commentary really, really changed my mood into a better one so I sincerely thank you :" Hope you have a pleasant day/night~
I have nothing to do without you except for crying , regretting and tears. Without you, I cannot and I don’t want to continue even for a single day Without you, how can I survive the memories days and nights Our memories faded from your memory, but I still miss them
I am destroyed without you, Look I am alive but the world is dead to me You were my world but your distance ruined me I am destroyed without you, Look I am alive but the world is dead to me You were my world but your distance ruined me I am afraid of this thought which is filled with silence and loneliness and pain I wish I wasn’t used to this old lifetime pain This heavy loneliness that on my tired shoulders I will carry it with thinking of you until I die I am destroyed without you, Look I am alive but the world is dead to me You were my world but your distance ended me I am destroyed without you, Look I am alive but the world is dead to me You were my world but your distance ended me
Thanks Nina for your professional analysis. I have to say your Tahrir was really awesome! You’re very welcome to do more Tahrirs on persian songs ☺️. By the way, don’t miss to react to this by Homayoon Shajarian and Sohrab Pournazeri: “Rumi Poetry - Persian Music and Singing - (Turn on CC for a better English translation!)”. It’s a different level! 🌹🌹
Very impressive reaction. My sincere profound thanks to you. U yourself have an excellent voice. Very attractive. Greetings from an ISFAHANIAN Iranian American
OMG! You first surprised me by reacting to Halsey's album and now my favourite Iranian singer 😍❤ I love you soooo much. If you would like to react to another Iranian artist, I suggest Sirvan Khosravi.
Amazing song a fanatstic comment on top of that. Even if you sais you were new to Persian music you have much to contribute and you are picking fast, as I see :) I am looking forward to hearing the next reaction. Thank you very much for this.
Your last sentences are revolutionary ma'am !!! keep up the great job. I look forward for more reaction to Persian music. Thanks a lot. also we are actually begging for rain here if you got some extra 🤣
Thank you very much, dear, for paying attention to Iranian music Also expressing interest in Iranian songs And I realized that you have dealt with many clips of Iranian singers Considering that you did not understand Persian language either So only people who love music and They understand music correctly This is the attitude towards foreign music Just like you 💖🙏 Thank you very much and good luck
I guess that's a difference between a vocal coach reaction and others reaction. I've seen your reaction to his other songs, and some others reactions to his songs. I actually learn a thing or two from watching your reactions. Keep up the good work. And hope for more sunshine for you.
hello Nina.since you've been reacting to persian music, I recommend that you react to some folk music as well. I would say the group "rastak" would be a good example because they make the folk music of Iranian's people more modern. I think it would be interesting.
Really good reaction, one other legendary iranian artist is Morteza pashaei, which collaborated with Mohsen. I would recommend you react to him as well.
Hi Nina, I have searched to find out if you have reacted to another song from the same guy called Nashkan Delamo (Don't break my Heart), and I can't find any. I wish you could do it, which is one of my biggest favorites. Best regards, Ramin
Your little demonstration of "Tahrir" was quite impressive. Having grown up with English/Western music I know it is not an easy skill to emulate amongst most western singers; not in a sustained and natural fashion anyway. Only individuals who really understand music appreciate such skill and within an alien musical settings. Ps, since you asked, try Dariush Eghbali at some point. I won't recommend a particular song as they're all excellent; I let you do a little search and take your pick. Btw, he won't chase/delete your reaction for copyright infringements; guaranteed.
hey dear nina, the best kind of example in persian music for this kind of vocal control or vocal fry action is "Amir tataloo(artist name) " that be kind of you that react to "man bahat ghahram" or "ajab2" or others . with love 💌
Nina, you're very talented because singing Iranian like we calll "Tahrir" isn't something non-Iranians can easily do. I think it's something in our DNA, but you almost nailed it.
You will probably hear this in different places that the Persian language itself is like music and melody. When this is combined with music, a work of art can usually be created. But of course it depends on who is singing it and what the song itself is. Edit: Anyway, his other songs are also nice. Check this: ua-cam.com/video/cDNDVtoJhik/v-deo.html
You are beautiful😍 thank for your reaction I would recommend Farzad Farzin live performance. Most of his songs are nice. Kavir by googoosh is also fabulous.
Thank you for that Nina! I think you should listen to another persian singers too. For example Ehsan Khajeamiri (30 Salegi), Mohsen Chavoshi (Kojaee), Chaartar (Sedayam Bezan, Darya Kojast) and... I decided to teach persian language through these songs! Do you think it's working or not!?
lot of modern persian singers, specially if they had in their early years to learn classical Persian music, have some basic knowledge of Tahrir technic : Tahrir which is an old classical style of Persian vocal is a voice crackling technic. in the old times the idea was to imitate the sounds of birds... even Yeganeh usually doesn't perform the old classical persian music, but he still knows to how to use some of those thechnics.. To better understand the technic of tahrir you can check Homayoon Shajarian(I think you checked on of his songs earlier)..check following two performances(two different versions of the same song) the original(performed by grandmaster of iranian classical music Mohamadreza Shajarian, who past away last year and than compare the same song in a more modern way performed by his son and today's most known classical persian singer Homayoon shajarian (I think you will very good hear the oldstyle Tahrir compared to a modernized version, since Homayoon is also familiar with Western Opera & classical music) Original Version by Father performed in early 90s with persian traditional music instruments ua-cam.com/video/Ye6d4zXdtUc/v-deo.html newer version of same song by his son ua-cam.com/video/LApNZRnreYI/v-deo.html
I’m having so much fun discovering all these new songs and techniques! What should I watch next? ♥️
Please go to the great Iranian singer and artist named Amir Tataloo Reaction
Amir Tataloo is the most talented singer and artist in Iran and the world. Please go to him for reaction.
Please listen to this: ua-cam.com/video/ItsAvI-3ZWs/v-deo.html

Your reactions are awesome cause you are analyzing not just saying I like this or it was beautiful. I really enjoy your reactions.❤
How on earth can he do the vibrato so easily? This is an extremely difficult song! Amazing voice! Iranian music, Persian language simply poetic.

Hey! Try to listen "Shahre Khakestari" from Mohsen too! It's AMAZING!!!
اهنگ محسن چاوشی لطف کنید بزارید شعر همخواب رقیب ممنون
Thank you for that Nina! I think you should listen to another persian singers too. For example Ehsan Khajeamiri (30 Salegi), Mohsen Chavoshi (Kojaee), Chaartar (Sedayam Bezan, Darya Kojast) and... I decided to teach persian language through these songs! Do you think it's working or not!?
Please react to him singing shahre khakestari thanks beautiful
