A delightful presentation! Never thought I'd have much interest in knitting but this talk perfectly combines it with math, technology, maker projects, computer science and more!
Personally I think this is one of the greatest presentations because it's so far afield. It expanded my mind. I'd be interested to hear (or read) more about the dynamic-programming techniques. Not because of knitting personally (although I have used a hand-operated knitting machine a few times) but because it's such a good exercise to contemplate entirely unfamiliar problems.
Great talk on surpassingly interesting topic! And for most of the time I was thinking trying to come up with a nice declarative approach as a replacement for these bug-inducing imperative languages. So thank you for that complier project at the end!
