I covered 1000 miles on foot, walking from Czechia to Sweden and I had this band's music with me. It gives you a different angle of seeing the world when you disconnect from the mundane every day life and connect your emotions to the nature and do nothing but observe the wonders around you.

That guitar riff combined with that basseline driven by that drumline, all of them extra simple, but magic together. pure vibe.
And to think this album debuted in 2008!!! This band was SO far ahead of it's time I wish they were still around to be smashing to radio today because I believe now would have been the perfect time speaking in musical styles and what's popular. Thank you EotS for everything you did

if anyone is confused about this video, freaked out about the swordfish women, or just flat out like "wtf is this" I have an explanation for this! it will make you appreciate this band even more if you didnt already. this band is flat out spiritual I have to say.
ok so, the people in the group (forgot their names) are natives of Australia. The natives of Australia are called the Aboriginis. they have many creation stories but one in particular is what the public knows about. They worship a time space deminsion called "Dream time." when the world was first made by what they call "the maker of all things" it was just this flat piece of nothing basically. No plants or anything, so the "maker of all things" also known as Baiame released the creatures of the dream time world and they brought life to Earth. the example of the type of creatures that came from dreamtime, are swordfish people that could look like men or women. (explains the sword fish women in the video) or creatures that already looked like men and women. ( I encourge you to read about the whole creation story)
The lead singer's head dress, and many other head dresses he has worn look very similar to aborigini head dresses used for ceremonies. the aboriginis do theses ceremonies to communicate with the dream time world. just look on google at the many different head dresses the lead singer has worn as well with aborigini head dresses and you will see what I mean.
so basically the video is portraying the world of Dream time.

Simply amazing. I saw these guys in September. Best concert I've ever been to. To the "common," man, these songs are probably just noise and people dressed up in weird costumes. To the creative, it's like candy for the ears and mind. Their songs invoke a feeling in me that can't be rivaled by any other band. Empire Of The Sun always did put effort in their visuals. This is just an example of that great and underrated talent.
This song brings me back to my college days. I was seventeen years old, out on my own for the very first time. I was overwhelmed and terrified, but I was finally free of my abusive family. It was a riveting and humbling era of my life. Life was hard back then, but whenever I hear this song, I miss those wild days.

ayaJB1D same here but you know what's crazy? There are songs i previously had on my ipod ended up on a few episodes like Kaskade's Move for Me. It was perfect in that scene when they are at the club trying to find Vince in Season 7 i think it is. I have been watching it over again on HBO Go. The whole series on there. You should see the movie. It is so funny.Almost everybody was in the movie. I consider it the true ending to the show
Dickens Dumont I did watch the movie, twice. I absolutely loved it and it was an amazing throw back to the show and hilarious as always. But I hate that it wasn't as successful in the box office and had bad reviews. It didnt matter to me because I just wanted a feel of Entourage and the guys again.
Dickens Dumont oh yeah this is the true ending by all means. The finale had me in tears because I'm not gonna see the characters again but didn't give me a closure, so the movie did.
yeah you know, the movie was definitely for the fans of the show. just like how sex and the city was. if you weren't a fan of the show, you aren't gonna understand the characters. especially somebody like ari gold. so i knew it wasn't gonna be hugely successful. just like you, it was great seeing the boys again and i loved the ending as well. hopefully the movie will do much better on DVD and then people will watch the show on demand or DVD sets. i agree. they are characters you can't get enough of. they are an example of why i want to be in the business. i am an upstart filmmaker and i definitely wanna make it to hollywood. i wanna win an oscar one day or a golden globe like johnny did
