This is why I enjoy playing monstrous races, eslecially dragonborn and dragonkim. The ability to go from goofy fun times to "Im not even a fellow mammal, I could chew your spine like a veggie straw" always gets such great rp going when mkst others play some usual flavor of hero, bard, or berserker

Look, I don't have any relation to anything Baldur's Gate I only ended up here because I was looking though various perception check animations - but fuck me that is some super satisfying animation. Truly impeccable timing, excellent use of expression, the fact that the character is so energetic that he breaks the flute in two but still somehow can play it - everything about this video is delightful.

I always knew that the Emperor is a true DM. 1.He leads you along the path he has planned. 2.He gives you advices not to do stupid things that could potentially lead to your death. 3.He complains, but still saves you if you do such stupid things. It’s like: “Okay, without you there won’t be a plot anyway. Take a second chance.”
I have not even played BG3, but this instantly became my favorite perception check animation. Some combination of the art style, the detailed scenes out of nowhere, and him playing his flute even after breaking it in half is just absolutely perfect. Extremely well done!
