I'm 100% ok with spending 20k req to have operation modifiers like 10% reduction in cooldowns. Extra ordinance (longer barrages)
5k req. for +1 mag (or ammo equivalent) make me happy too 😀
longer barrages? I want them shorter but still the same number (fire faster).
Half the time everything's either moved on or are dead while the barrage is still going on
or weapon modifiers like maybe some support weapons have one extra armour penetration for a cost, the cost could be high but you could also make it so you can take on more difficulty modifiers for extra requisition to balance that, stuff like maybe a weather effect happens twice as often or bug breaches/bot drops are 25% bigger, or you have only negative side objectives, so you know you won't get seaf artillary or radar and might have more stalkers or shriekers
Now that I think about it, could be a good way to add those mech reloads people want, make it something you by with requisition

This is amazing news. Not only will it be manageable for causal solo players to clear level six, they’ll also get super samples and fixed guns? And as the cherry on top, we will finally have visible supply lines. This calls for a celebration!

Requisitions could also give small buffs during the missions. Like, 10000 slips for 10% more XP. Stuff like that.

@@norecordingsoftware3309 the extra damage on the jar makes it keep up I think. Accuracy could be better. Sight could be better. But the stun it gets on everything below a hulk comes in so clutch on the Dominator.

My thought exactly.. No point in raising the cap if you offer nothing new to spend them on.. The game needs more constant new content to also keep the most active and/or effective players insterested.. That's how it works if you implement a progression unlock system in a "live service" game.. Hopefully with the new skins etc, this will happen..
This also creates a problem of higher level maxed players neglecting the samples they come across because they have no use. This affects any players who still need samples doing missions too. I'm lvl 130 and I have been guilty of neglecting samples sometimes.
@@seanrogers3389 I always pick up all samples I come accross in case anyone on the team needs them, even if I do not need them myself anymore because I'm maxed out.. I think that's just basic courtesy in a PvE teambased game.. But I'm not gonna risk dying for them anymore if it's to risky, that's the only difference.. I also sometimes join very low levels if I want to have a very relaxed game, to just farm super credits and help some lower levels players out at the same time.. No need for me to always play at level 7-9.. And I'm not the only one because I see plenty of other high level players (50+) at the lower level difficulties probably doing the same thing, lol..
Ironically back when level 50 was max i fucking ran across the map, completed their half of the objective, recovered samples and someones shield pack (that i returned to them) and the went on to carry us to extract. The objective was easy, but i took everything else because the challenge of providing for my team is a mission in and of itself.

If I could spend requisition slips on the random vending machines around the map to get random buffs, like 10% movement buff or 10% chance for lightning to strike around you would be pretty cool.
I keep telling my friends: you should be able to spend req slips to shower guts off and buy confetti for the end-of-mission elevator and stuff

Now I am not sure if "extrapolation" works in english though, in my language it does can mean what someone use a lot of big words like, "this is a millions of miles away" (when it's less that one actually :D)
@@edzbienenHyperbole is the word you're looking for. Extrapolation is when you use current knowledge about something to predict how things will evolve, assuming the trend doesn't change.
now they just need to add a few rare samples to eradicate at higher levels, and any samples to the defend, just any at all.
Players would likely abuse it just to get samples, and not complete operations

@therealmt8593 pretty sure he means the total of the missions. You pick an operation at diff 7 or up and it has 3 missions inside of it.

Spending requisition on an extra stratagem would actually be a really smart way to give players with no other use for them a reason to want more. You’d have to make it cost you per match though, or it would just become another one and done upgrade.
A good idea I saw abit higher in the comments was using req slips to remove the negative modifiers on missions, imo buying extra stratagem slots is very op but buying back your 4th slot is nice
Maybe you could buy an extra stratagem from a choice from 3 as well, like the limited time/planet ones like the mech recently

Nah there's been many improvements. I played since launch.
Many of the people crying about stuff are blowing things out of proportion. People have become entitled cry babies, it's really kind of ridiculous.
Sure there has been some growing pains, nobody can deny that. Just comes with being a trend setter instead of a trend chaser

@B-U-T-C-H-E-R 💯 I never play online games and Helldivers 2 changed that fast. It is so fun and most Randoms I can gel with. The game developer wants to do right by the fanbase, and I'm willing to give them the chance to make this game great
It’s so weird, I was playing level 3 missions recently just to give new players some mechs and fun stuff, then went to 9 and got absolutely destroyed. It was such a relaxing experience that I forgot how brutal level 9 was and the muscle memory had to come back. Some higher levels just play at most level 6 and they generally just chill and play casually which I actually think is great. This game is so open to all people of different skill levels and they can enjoy whatever experience they like.
I'm surprised they are changing super samples availability to 6. 7 is actually fine in terms of difficulty. A good balance between being overrun and controlling the situation. There are plenty of times, where I can comfortably solo stuff while my team is off doing something else. And other times where I can't get into an area without backup. My issue is that rare samples are the resource choke. 150 rares for some upgrades compared to 200 commons or 50 supers. I can't remember the exact amounts, just that rares are absurdly high compared to commons and supers are easy to get consistently once you know what to look for.
commons should be your choking point, because you get 40 commons and like 38 rares at diff 9.
I don't know the difference at 7, so maybe you actually get a lot more max commons than rares at that difficulty.
Commons were my biggest resource choke.

Wholeheartedly agree. I can play level 9, but it being a constant dash and dive fest will wear you out. Level 7 is definitely the best difficulty. Just enough tough situations but is still fun without feeling like you ran a marathon. As for the samples, I find it hilarious how some players will make a huge deal over the super samples, but I have a lifetime supply of those. The rare samples was where the bottleneck was.

I don't think they should increase sample cap, since when they add t5 upgrades they don't want people to unlock all of them at once. But yes, it would be nice to have something to use our samples, reqs and medals on once we hit cap.

However, to ensure people don’t abuse the system, make it to where if they are still at the moment able to unlock something with those resources, they won’t convert
@@cgrado you can't have this system, for a reason, we got lots of cheaters that can easily cap all resources (excluding SCs) in 1 missions

LEGENDARY difficulty, where there are but only five select lives for each of your Helldivers to share, and how but only two or even one hit from an enemy can instantly off you.
Make it so that even supplies you use takes longer to call down, making such a difficulty all the more harder.
But don’t make it so there are but thousands of enemies, make it so there are enemies that are tougher to hurt and give you the hurt a lot worse.
Helldivers 1 has 15 difficulties. Tho it didn't start with that many. Same could happen to helldivers 2

Settings are totally fine ...
I had this issue. If in doubt, revert your settings to default, and use process of elimination until you can’t see samples again
i had that aswell, i did somethign with the settings and they were gone from my hud, did a reset to default and set samples on always showable.
That a bug? I thought had to put high settings to see your samples in the hub
Happened to me did a bunch of research. There's a bug: Change mission visibility from always to dynamic and that''ll fix the problem to see samples.
I'd rather them fix sudden deaths and crashes.. this alone would make the game more enjoyable, also revert all the gun changes they made, i'm tired of running the same weapons over and over because the rest is just masochism or a crutch for teammates.
I'm so frustrated by the crashes, before the hot fix for Meridia I rarely crashed, now I crash at least once a game, sometimes just standing around on my ship.
LAS-99 Quasar Cannon cooldown is whatever but on the colder planets it doesn't have a faster cooldown why?

Being able to spend requisition slips to gain an extra slot for 1 round is a great idea, would help some players play at a harder difficulty for a game, or maybe even 1 operation. Make it expensive so it feels rewarding to save up and spend them to get that perk. Plus they're in game free rewards that anyone can get and will help keep casual players grinding and playing.
It just seems like a way to keep the grind fun, rewarding, and interesting after you've unlocked everything. Saving up to have a crazy OP high difficulty operation with your team. Or a way to take your lower skill friends into high difficulty lobbies without being handicapped too bad
One change I would love to see is the ability to open bunkers in a solo lobbies
Maybe a booster? Or the feature is instantly removed when someone joins the lobby
One thing I did notice, last week when I played I used the AutoCannon and man that reload speed is SOOO SLOWWWW but yesterday I played and the autocannon got a full ammo refill in about 2 seconds as opposed to the 7 or 8 that it was before. When playing against the Terminds those extra 6 seconds can save you from getting swarmed !
I want a drone that helps load support weapons. Would be useful to those who play solo and slightly buffs support weapons that allow assisted reloading, while taking up a slot for ammo pack, shieldpack, or guard dog
i would love to be able to change the colors of our armors instead of having to mix and match helmets and chest armors to make them match ya know but I'm sure that will come later down the line. i hope.

I have almost exclusively been using gatling gun recently, it is so much fun and cools down so fast. Gas strike and airburst are also fun
Tenderizer ended up being a Liberator reskin due to the base Liberator getting a buff right before the Tenderizer was released. Assault Rifles in general need a rework but that was the actual main problem with the Tenderizer at the time of release. Before it was buffed the Liberator did 55 damage. Did the 5 more damage actually help? I honestly couldn't tell you, but it did make getting the Tenderizer disappointing since it was clear it hadn't been touched in response for the buffs.
Well hopefully now they'll force the guy in charge of balancing to pull his head outa his rear end.
I’m excited. With my friend group there’s a group of 2 me included and a group of 4 or 5 with me included. I ended up playing a lot with the small group and just us 2 being casual made it hard and horribly unfun to do super samples at difficulty 7. Rando’s were unreliable and left most of the time. And we couldn’t join anyone most of the time. So we haven’t played in like a month but with this patch it might get us back into it
They should do some kind of market where you can change your samples or requisitions for smth. e.g.: 200 Green 50 orange 50 purple for 500 super credits. Cauze I am already full with samples and have no where to spend them.
Maybe 50 green for 1 additional 500kg bomb before the need to refill/refuel.

Level 9 Helldiver on both Automaton and bug frontlines. Honestly I enjoy it, and am so used to the difficulty its like second nature for doing it for what feels like months now. I do wish the bug users would try out the Automatons more, its not as bad as its made out to be really. But I understand that gaming over the decades have had a more larger casual audience, which coming back to the difficulty 6 super samples for them, sure I don't mind that. When they add the next tier of samples and such am looking forward to going up to Difficulty 15 when they eventually add it in.
I'll do my part, you do you part, simply for Democracy, and Liber-tea. I just hope with the new changes with supply lines visible and such people can actually be more coordinated for once.
TBh i die way less on automatons than bugs, but extermination missions on bots are FAR more difficult because it is way harder to recover if things go out of control, bugs are easier on lower difficulties slightly harder on higher because of the sheer amount of BT you get and since the only weapons that can deal with it are either AT weapons or the 500kg....
Using shield as a crutch for every Automaton mission, to be able to line up a couple of shot without getting flinched into oblivion fucking sucks.
@@JohrnyReport I don't normally run a shield, Eagle airstrike, orbital laser, the last two are filler like I differ between what support weapon I want so sometimes I run supply pack with heavy mg, sometimes it be a quaser with one of the backpacks or 1 support and the other a mech. Really depends but I make it work.

I've actually taken Spear for some bug hunts exclusively for Bile Titans and it is a nice resource, I do need to be patient and steady when approaching to lock-on.
I don't feel it's atrocious but if it does get some changes that give player advantage/QoL, then I'll be happy to give it some rounds after the patch.
They need to scrap the whole weapon variant thing and add attachments why do we need like 7 liberators
this is bugging me as well, basically the standard liberator is worse than all other liberators that are newer so theres no reason to use that thing.
Orbital gatlin cannon being able to penitrate heavy armor would be cool.
I hope having one super sample in 6 is going to keep all the idiots out of 7, I can't be the only one who noticed that you play with complete idiots on 6 and you go to 7 to 9 and everyone seems to know what they're doing

A solid way to promote fighting other factions are faction specific rewards, or a crafting system based on the source of the material. Even if it’s just for cosmetics, a reward system would do amazing
Edit: craftable helmet and cape buffs would also be insane
with the harder difficulty - spending your extra money to get certain 1 time mission uses buffs - or (free) stratagems can be a way for those in high levels to spend their currency and in a fun way for a harder mission.
for weapons - people are pushed to use certain anti armor - and its rare to see other weapons.
for eagles and orbitals - still think a ship module to make it "free" so you dont waste 1/4 slot can be interesting
while support weapons might be the need to switch up how they design the armor levels and HP body parts. that a piece of armor on a target could be destroyed, and exposing their weaker point inside. so at least a stalwart could rain down bullets and at least do something against the target and not be useless
I still think some Strategems should not take a slot, like the Weapons Strategems, you could have a single slot dedicated for Weapon, and if you need another then you use one of your regular slots.

a few months ago - damn i had a different idea that IF most people say heavy armor is still "weaker" than running fast light armor. someone heavy would naturally carry more things. AKA - + 1 free stratagem slot for weapon or backpack.
Useing requisition to increase strategem slots or do some other kind of thing that helps you out on the surface sounds like an amazing way to make the resource relevant at higher levels.
I hope the Devs pick up on that because the feeling of disappoint ment when you get req in a container is annoying.

Ever since I got my ship fully upgraded I went back to level 7. 8 & 9 are fun too but it’s harder when you aren’t talking to people

@@Odog78For bots, it’s meh. For bugs it’s also mid. The problem with bugs is that at higher levels, they give you the Orbital Interference, which basically makes your orbitals not hit where your beacon is. It scatters it around the beacon in a random direction. Gatling barrage is good if you work with it to clear a horde. I do recommend it when you can use it.

I’d use the precision over orbital rail cannon to kill titans but because of frequent orbital interference is… I don’t.
@@LCInfantry It’s an annoying modifier for sure. Although the Minus one strategem on the bot side just makes me avoid the missions entirely. I just bring a sentry in place of my orbital on the bug side.

I love the orbital gattling strategem! Even if it is "weak". Super quick cooldown, melts small bugs during bug breaks and can even stun lock chargers.
I been playing lvl 8 for a few weeks and it seems like they are spawning 8-10 bile spewers or bile titans since the black hole
just curious what people think of charger maneuverability while charging, i go back and forth on weather or not i think they need to be less agile
Personally, I have no problems with current charger maneuverability. I am able to evade them just the same as before their buff.

It would be nice if requisition slips were used to purchsse your strategem loadout each run, and if super earth manufacturing were strained so that popular thi gs cost more but decreased if the "meta" shifted.
I'm a bit worried about the updates to the map because i know it already caused a lot of lag when someone was scrolling through the map while you were on their ship. Hopefully they have optimized the map coding a bit along with adding the supply lines and attack point that way it doesnt start causing crashes.
I want to see a radial menu for emotes so we can use things besides the hug emote as well.
Crazy idea for use of spare req when maxed out: Buy food/consumables for the ships crew with vary effects! e.g. even shorter cooldown for certain stratagems, faster call ins, heck faster reloading for the eagle or even more ammo for certain weapons or vehicles. Have it only effective for the next drop (or 2) then have to buy again and its only req slips only.
man I soloed 3 bile titans while brawling with a brood commander and it's reinforcements. they don't need a nerf(i died 1 minute later to a patrol)
Questions is how big GB or MB for this patch?
I hope you can trade a ton of requisition for a few super credits or medals and you can convert rarer samples into more common samples

If anyone wondering, here's a few methods I use. Hope this helps.
1.2 anti tank rockets to the face + 2 rocket pod strikes
2. Auto cannon sentry can just do it if you can keep it alive
3. Auto cannon support can shoot out the bile sack effectively + 1/2 ton bomb, Or precision orbital Or rail canon (you got options)
I fw spending medals to make a mission harder or easier maybe you can bet medals to get bonus medals at the end of the
What i want them to do with samples and requisition points is add purchasable buffs for missions. Something like removing bad modifiers for high level missions or bringing extra booster perks for the whole party. Or maybe even bringing extra stratagems for the next op. Something like that would make the resource cap make sense and bring an extra layer of enjoyment to high difficulty gameplay.
The gatling orbital is fine,. It's primary purpose is to use it on enemy reinforcement spawns. The 1 minute cooldown is nice too. I always bring at least that or gas

I really hope that the weapons that all got neutered are made good again and that all the crappy weapons get buffed into goodness or have their stats modified so that they have a unique purpose.

With the super circles, they should up it for level seven and higher to bounce it out
I really love the idea of using req slips for something more. I currently have everything in the game and all i really want is to be able to swap between any weapon, learn it, and have impact with it.
Fun fact for those that haven't been following patch notes from the start. When AH reworked spawns to stop heavy armor spam they only did it for difficulties 7+. So, unless they stealth changed it like they do, you will encounter MORE bile titans in lvl 6 than in lvl 7. When they first did the change my group tried a lvl 6 and were getting 2-4 titans per bug breech, but when we run lvl 7s we get usually 1 titan or even none per breech and the MOST I have seen from a breech is 3 at exfil during a major order.
They really need to rework the transition difficulties because as they are right now there is pretty much no reason to run level 3 or level 6. You are seriously better off just hopping to 4 or 7 to get better rewards.
they need to increase the cap or remove the cap completely on war medals. who cares if someone has enough medals to buy out an entire warbond on release, they put the time in, they deserve it. If a warbond releases that i dont want, i just dont play because im capped on medals

If you're ever solo training a bile titan, try to learn the timing to drop the EAT pod on the titans head (abt 25-30m ahead of yourself at a full sprint with light armor)...*squish*
doesn't do enough damage to kill them and recovering it is a pain in the ass because of the now pissed off Titan camping the EATs,,,
@@Tamachii12 i mean, i run around the map wth an arc thrower looking for samples, usualy able to dmg it myself a bit, but touché, not everyone uses the same build/strat as me. kitting ads was never a problem for me, played too many games were it was more than neccesary 😅 case in point, its more of a meme strat for if you're on your own and REALLY wanna save the rockets or your 500k (for whatever reason lol)

I'd rather that than the randoms on my lvl 7-9 difficulty missions who clearly don't know what they're doing, and then die 9 times. Some people just are new or aren't good but want ship upgrades

100%. The quality in players at 7 is so bad compared to 8. And then on 9 you get some randoms that who just give af and want to play at the highest difficulty, but most pretty good compared to dif 7 randoms, but also some a lot less short tempered and stuck in their ways of “im right, you’re wrong, I’m doing it my way.”
I was not good at the game until I forced myself to play 7 to get those supers and now I'm rocking that difficulty.
7 had that problem because it was the great filter between those who are good at the game and those that are just okay at it.
I pretty much always solo queue into squads for level 7's. It's not that bad if you get used to the movement mechanics of your character, and the movement mechanics of the enemies. You just have to keep moving, dive out of the way constantly, and dodge chargers and bile spitting bugs at the right times. takes some practice but I rarely fail missions now. I usually solo side objectives and get samples while my squad does main objectives and just extract with them.
I don't know about extra stratagems, but they do need to figure out something to spend excess resources/requisitions on or else, at least for me, there's less incentive to keep grinding missions until the next new thing drops.
A good idea I saw was using it to remove the negative modifiers on missions, imo buying extra stratagem slots is very op but buying back your 4th slot is nice
Maybe you could buy an extra stratagem from a choice from 3 as well, like the limited time/planet ones like the mech recently but that’d be kinda op too
My main wish is for the missile aim to be fixed for the patriot suit. I would also like to be able to take both suits, dunno why that is disallowed?
im mostly interested in the infinite (4 billion) grenade fix. It is a fun exploit that CAN be useful, but ultimately it takes the fun out of the game. Would have been fun with the throwing knife though, you would be like Dio Brando (or Sakuya Izayoi if you know who that is), and kill everything with as many knives as possible.

Ragdolling is super annoying.
They can run out of ammo, plus the whole point is to not engage wvery bot
No cyberstans whole thing is hitting you with overwhelming ranged firepower Less numbers and with a more medium level of armour that's their whole gimmick just like how the bugs gimmick is swarm tactics numbers and having small amounts of armoured troops that happen to have the biggest armour you're legitimately just bad if you fight the other two enemies like you fight the bugs you're not gonna have a good time yes if you get hit by a rocket you're going to go flying don't get hit how do you not get hit take cover have proper positioning watch for enemy fire and most importantly do not get into every fire fight you do not need to you are a strike team of four dudes not a legion of exterminators

@@shinyrayquaza9 They don't, rocket devastators never run out of rockets and if you play on helldive 9 you can face up to 12 of them at once, sometimes it is impossible to avoid engaging them specially when extracting.
With the Super sample coming down to 6 does that mean the rare sample might come down to 4?

but since yesterday the Spawn rate on extraction has become absurdly ridiculous on LV 8 it's like all the extra spawning in games are reduced for the majority of game play then spams the extraction 🤦
yep, the spawn over the mission is completely fine but on extraction the entire planet is there to bid farewell to you, on Helldive 9 is even worse, there was a time that i had like 9 BT running around.
So mobs do spawn directly behind you. I was only dying to ninja brood commanders for a while there.

There is 101 different things they can do with Req. slips and medals. They could make Reqs be able to purchase temporary attachments foe your weapons per match, or do "additional scouting donation" and spend them to see more secondary objectives.
You can kill Bile Titans through their sacks even if they're destroyed, AC works for it, other weapons do too.

If they don’t decrease the quasar cooldown to 12 seconds, than at the very least, they can make the meter cooldown not lie to you. I swear it’s only accurate on hot planets

the spear is underrated but ive became fond of it after a few uses and i stopped using the other anti tank weapons on terminids

I have max super sample that have no place to use but I still need 600+ rare sample...
If you find levels 7-9 prohibitively hard, you still have some learning to do. There are means and methods for dealing with every problem. Bile titans? Proper use of 500kg bomb. Swarmed by way too many mobs? Arc thrower. Overwhelmed at close range with too many chargers? Personal shield. Etc etc. Having a team that know what they're doing is key also. Never split into more than two groups.
Give us new ways to spend samples, currency exchange or in-match purchases even, like can buy a planetary one use booster. I have been at max for weeks, everything unlocked. I still pick them up for the team but takes the joy of finding away
