Man you've got some hot revolvers! I'm just getting into S&W Revolvers. I really like the blued with wood handles. I'm thinking J frame for carry and 586 for range for starters. The J will be #1. They don't make that many blued any more. I just talked to a friend with a friend that wants to sell his, so maybe I'll luck out.
Awesome vid bro, you have some sweet Revolvers man ..yep I think everyone should have a couple of Revolvers in their gun collection no doubt ... good stuff bro
I really Enjoyed this video! I like your Great Attitude and your willingness to pass the Revolver Sickness along. I will be Buying 2 Smith and Wesson Revolvers in the next 30 days or so, and there will be Video Reviews on them on our channel. Thanks Again for the Great Video! BERETTA9mmUSA Sr.
Bat Jac, great 4-inch and 6-inch S&W, Colt, Dan Wesson, Ruger, and even 4-inch Taurus 82/65/66 Models are NOT on the gun shelves anymore in west-central Georgia. Gunbroker is our best bet here, but one pays a steep price usually on Gunbroker. Semi-autos and more semi-autos is all I see anymore nowadays.
Great video, as always! Earlier today I fell in love. An older gentleman at the Bass Pro range had a Smith and Wesson Model 15, with, I believe a 3" barrel. I had brought my M&P 45 C, my M&P 9 mm Shield, and my J frame snubbie, a 442. He graciously let me shoot his Model 15. By the second cylinder, I was in love, and asked if he'd be interested in trading his Model 15 for my M&P45 C. At first he was interested, but then got cold feet. 😭. Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with the M&P45 C. I like it, but I just can't seem to LOVE it. I love my Springfield Armory m1911a1, a replica of what we carried when I was in the service, I love my Smith and Wesson 442, I really like my M&P 9mm Shield, but I just like my M&P 45 C. It's like marrying for money instead of for love. Oh well. Maybe he'll call me, and we can trade.
Back in like 2010 I was seeing colt pythons for as low as 900. Now it's just ridiculous they're anywhere from 3000-5000!! Back in April 2010 my local gun shop had a stainless 6 inch python for 950 and I regret not buying it.
Amen to everything you said in this excellent video. From June 2014 to this last Christmas, my carry was a Smith and Wesson 442, which I absolutely love. Since Christmas, my carry is a Rock Island Armory M 206, and it's an amazing little beast. I love it. No, it doesn't have the finesse of a Smith and Wesson. It doesn't have the price tag of a Smith and Wesson either. My dream gun is a Smith and Wesson snub nose model 10. For now the Rock Island will do.
I also love the S&W's. I had the same Talo 3" 629, but just recently sold it to my sister. It's a gorgeous beyond belief revolver, but I had decided to stick to collecting p&r Smiths. Well, then came last Monday when I walked into my LGS and there sat a beautiful 4" blued Colt Python. Owned handguns for 30 yrs and this was the first time I'd ever even held one. And yes I walked out with it. Has a 3 1/4 lbs trigger pull. Almost as good as my 2 1/2lbs (I think a tad to light) Freedom Arms 83. Great videos. Awesome collection you have. Just discovered your channel.
The first gun I ever bought was a revolver, a Ruger Super Blackhawk...Since then I've bought several...OK, several hundred then...And since I lost count long ago, I'll admit the possibility that the number is probably in the four to five figure range...But if I can't own them all, maybe I can own a lot of them even for a short period...Right now the number is between 30 and 40, mostly S&W plus a few Colts...All double action, all between 30 and 80 years old...I'll find them at gun shows and pawn shops and gun stores, mostly in some stage of neglect begging for care...So I'll rescue them, take them home, take care of their mechanical needs, clean and polish them and sometimes treat them to new grips...Then when I take them out into the world, they look so good that someone usually talks me into allowing them to be re-homed in exchange for some other homeless derelicts and sometimes even a wad of cash, and the process starts all over...
Awesome, just flat out awesome. I agree. There is just something special about a revolver, and especially a Smith and Wesson revolver that's lacking in most semi-auto pistols. There are some exceptions of course. The m1911a1, and Walther PPK are a couple that come to mind. But in general, as far as I'm concerned, there is nothing as good as a revolver.
nice collection..i have two Smith and Wesson..four Rugers and a Uberti sass pro 45colt and Cimarron frontier 357mag stainless...im more of a ruger fan..they handle hotter loads and are tanks.. don't get me wrong Smith & Wesson makes a great gun too but you can't fire hot loads through them
+CR Buck i have done a lot of buying from gun broker thing i kept in mind is there dealing with Federal stuff so if they were to screw someone it would not be good. But theres always a chance, rule of thumb look at the feedback and if they are a store or personal sale.
Though I am a ruger fan I will own some smith's one day. The older blued ones r just gorgeous. My granddad has a older s&w 357 stainless with those big wood grips and I'll agree with ya I've never felt a revolver that felt as good. Nice collection and video
well thank you brother i have been working on that collection for a long time. i don't want a super long barrel on the redhawk 6'' at most but i want it because rugers are made to out last it's owners lol
Yes I agree....everyone should have bought a revolver yesterday. Hah. Well put.
lol Thanks!
Great video. I am always proud of my chief special, model 64, model 15-3 and 686 plus. My only semi automatic smith is a 5904 9mm.

Please - show us the guns while you're talking.
A static display, all crammed into the shot, is boring, but the revolvers are interesting ...
Great video am revolver man. Love my Smith model 29.

Would you say Gun Broker is a safe website to buy guns from?
Or is it like EBay?
+CR Buck i have done a lot of buying from gun broker thing i kept in mind is there dealing with Federal stuff so if they were to screw someone it would not be good. But theres always a chance, rule of thumb look at the feedback and if they are a store or personal sale.
